Repair of power seats In 2012, I purchased my new Venza from CR Toyota and had my vehicle serviced there every 5,000 miles. Recently, I had my first problem with the Venza In 2012, I purchased my new Venza from CR Toyota and had my vehicle serviced there every 5,000 miles. Recently, I had my first problem with the Venza - the two power front seats stopped working. Not sure the service was completed as I was told Have been buying from this dealership for over 10 years and purchased many vehicles 7? 8? I have lost track. John Nus and his staff have been so great to me and to my family (3 of my kids have Toyotas from here) the sales staff, Paul Speral and Curt and Wendy from finance are the greatest! But... the service dept lacks quite a bit for me. I made an appointment for minor repair, arrived at the appointed time, waited over 1 hour to be then told what my cost would be, I agreed as I had already been told the cost, and was then told it would be about 5 minutes! So... why did I have to wait over 1 HOUR for a 5 minute job?! My paperwork shows Joe Kem but I don't know that he is the actual person that took so long, so this may not be fair to him, but I am sure you can sort this out. Hard to rate quality of work until I find out if the pieces blow off... and how do I know they are actually glued in? short of pulling on them to see if they adhere? I think it would have taken longer than 5 minutes to put a bead of glue along each side, so my guess is they just popped them back on and there is no glue! Iowa City washes your car when you have a service but I prefer CR but I now live in North Liberty... I may consider changing More
