Drove cross country from Southern California to Duluth. 4 days, 8 states, 2351 miles. We had just put 1200 miles on it the week before. I received a call from the dealer, asking if I wanted to schedule an oil change about a month in advance. Without this call, I probably wouldn’t have come. The day before my appointment, I started hearing a schedule an oil change about a month in advance. Without this call, I probably wouldn’t have come. The day before my appointment, I started hearing a noise in my car, so I decided to call ahead and see if I could drop off my car a day earlier, which the dealer said yes to. When I arrived, the dealer made it clear that the car wouldn’t be seen until the following week. At no point, I was offered a loaner vehicle. I agreed to a diagnostic, paid for it, but I wasn’t told what repairs the car required. This experience has truly made never want to own a Subaru ever again. More
