They lie to you bout everything. Great Car Buying Experience I had bought two cars years ago from John Brownell. When my current car was totaled I decided to look into a new Rav4. I was pleased to see John was I had bought two cars years ago from John Brownell. When my current car was totaled I decided to look into a new Rav4. I was pleased to see John was still there (now the manager). I called John and he set me up to see Derek Matos. I must say dealing with Derek was a pleasure. He was very friendly, polite and well informed. He took the time to explain all about the car. Answered all of our questions. He was very easy going and there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever from Derek. He allowed my wife and I to take the time we needed to discuss our needs. We quickly arrived at a price and bought the car. Dealing with Derek made this a very easy experience. I would not hesitate to buy another car form Derek. One of the best car buying experiences I have encountered. Also would like to thank John Brownell for his help. He is also very polite, friendly and extremely pleasant to deal with. It was nice dealing with John again. Highly recommend dealing with both John and Derek. More

Don't even waste your time I went in to get an appraisal on my trade and a quote on a lease only to have been told, because I wasn't planning on buying or leasing THAT day, that I went in to get an appraisal on my trade and a quote on a lease only to have been told, because I wasn't planning on buying or leasing THAT day, that it was a waste of their time and did not receive either the appraisal or a quote... What a terrible way to do business. Not sure how this place is still in business operating like that. More

Excellent Customer Service I went in to look at a used Toyota 4Runner. Although the experience was incredible and the sales staff was outstanding, I wanted to look around a bit I went in to look at a used Toyota 4Runner. Although the experience was incredible and the sales staff was outstanding, I wanted to look around a bit to make sure I made the best choice. I ended up finding a stellar deal at another dealer, in which Route 44 couldn't compete (different color, newer year, same price). I had to take the other deal, but if I had my choice I would have purchased that other car from Route 44. Killer service, excellent experience. Thank you! More

We were looking for an estimated 6 weeks with no immediate hurry to replace our existing vehicle. We had identified through the web, that this dealership had an excellent 2010 Sienna vehicle of inte immediate hurry to replace our existing vehicle. We had identified through the web, that this dealership had an excellent 2010 Sienna vehicle of interest, but which had neither the mileage nor the pricing we were searching for. The trip down to visit them was to explore, but not with the intention of buying. We had also already decided on a Sienna or Odyssey minivan based upon reliability, and had quickly determined that the dealership was a TOP NOTCH place to be doing business. However, what really made the difference for us was the experience from our initial introduction. An experience where this dealership focused on the customer in delivering the professional sales, desired vehicle, and pricing needed to close the deal. It was not an easy negotiation given that we had done plenty of research in addition to having the time to wait to locate the vehicle we wanted at the pricing we needed. Route 44 Toyota focused on the customer and proceeded to do whatever they could to close the deal. They did this by making the experience a pleasant one in finding a way to satisfy us in terms of the mileage/pricing circumstances. Based upon this experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. You will not be disappointed. More

My husband and I came in knowing the vehicle that we wanted (new Rav4) and knowing the price that would fit into our budget. Dan, our sales guy was pleasant, knowledgeable, upfront, honest and no non-s wanted (new Rav4) and knowing the price that would fit into our budget. Dan, our sales guy was pleasant, knowledgeable, upfront, honest and no non-sense and worked very hard to get us what we wanted. John was the manager on duty who was incredibly nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Dan and John never pressured my husband and I, made us feel very comfortable and worked very hard to work out something that fit into our budget. All of these things were important since this was the THIRD Toyota dealership that we had visited (we were very unhappy with the customer service/sales teams at the other locations). Joel was the finance Manager who discussed different options with us, helping us to figure out exactly what we wanted and what would fit into our budget. It is important to point out that my husband and I were there LONG after the dealership 'closed'. Dan, John and Joel never once rushed us - they were all so patient and genuinely seemed to want to help my husband and I figure out whatever was going to be best for us. I would HIGHLY recommend this dealership to any friends and family purchasing a Toyota. We now plan on servicing our new Rav4 and also 2005 Corolla there and wouldn't think twice about buying another car from them when the time comes!! More

Chris knew his product well, which is why I bought a Toyota Camry. There was none of this back and forth stuff. I asked for a price and it was agreed upon, and I drove home with my new car that day. John Brownell was one of the sales managers and told us he would help us if Chris wasn't around. Seems like the staff is pretty friendly. I don't know if I would return for service though because I live in Lynn. But I would recommend this dealership to others. Great Job Guys! More
