I dropped my car off to the dealership on 04/20 because I received a low coolant signal the day before. I was told that I shouldn’t drive the car and pretty much had to leave the vehicle at the dealership. I received a low coolant signal the day before. I picked up a rental to hold me over for the next few days until David was available on that Monday. David called Monday morning to tell me that it was going to take at least a week for the car to be seen and that he didn’t have any loaners. I would put my name on a list and call when a loaner is available. Days go by and I didn’t hear anything from David. I followed up over the next couple of days to see when a loaner would be available and to check the status of the car. Finally, on May 3rd (2 weeks later), the car was in the shop and was being checked by a technician. I asked if he had any loaners available and what’s the update regarding the leakage layer that afternoon, and received no response. I texted again Monday morning, 05/06, and he said the tech was replacing the water pump and vacuum lines. On Wednesday, 05/08, I went to the dealership for more information. At this point, I am still in a rental! I texted David that morning and asked about an update. He said again, the car was being worked on and would be ready the next day. I asked him if he was available to meet with me and he didn’t respond back. I texted him and said I was there at the dealership and no response back. I called his direct line and mobile number, and he didn’t answer. Finally I walk in and see him sitting at his desk talking with the giy who does the shuttle services. So he literally ignored my text and calls after I told him I was at the dealership. I asked him again if he had any loaners available and he told me know. He showed me the “waiting list,” and I kid you not, everyone before and after me was marked off on the list. I was third on the list and at least 4 other people were after me. So in my mind, he gave the available loaners to other people, while I was stuck driving and extending my rental agreement. So after leaving the DelRae ship without my car and no loaner, I called to file a complaint. I spoke with Kamala. I explained my situation to her and told her how frustrating this process has been for me. She said she was going to check with the technician that was working on my vehicle to get an exact timeframe of when the service would be completed. I asked her about possible reimbursement for my rental, which cost me $750, due to the fact that David claimed he didn’t have any rentals available. She said she would check with the service manager and call me back with an update. I never received a call back regarding the car or reimbursement. The next day, 05/09, David texted me and said he had a loaner. I went to the dealership to pick the loaner. While completing the paperwork, David tells me that someone cancelled their appointment that morning, and because they cancelled their appointment, he decided to give me their loaner. So this whole entire time, he had a car available for other clients. This pretty much confirmed other people being marked off the list that came after me. I’ve been without my car and in a rental for 3 weeks at this point and was told sooooooo many times that he didn’t have any cars available. I was told my car would be ready the next day, and it wasn’t . Was told it would be ready on Monday, and it wasn’t. I finally received my car almost a month later on 05/16. This has been THE WORST experience I’ve ever encountered! And considering this was my second service, I do not plan on going back to this dealership. My first service was an oil change and I waited for that service to be completed instead of dropping it off because, once again, they didn’t have any loaners. I’m hoping and praying there’s another service dealership and that they provide better customer service because champion Porsche is xxxx poor and I would not recommend them to anyone.
