My wife and I made our 4th and 5th purchase from Gateway over the weekend. (You are welcome Jerome!) They always seem to have the best prices and once the deal is done, have a fast turnaround to get you on over the weekend. (You are welcome Jerome!) The sales staff, including Jerome and Jose, are courteous, professional and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and they don't try to push you into making a deal you aren't happy with. Great service and transaction. Quick story - Went to Dealer A made to feel like I was doing them a favor by coming in. Salesman didn't even give me his name. Went to Dealer B on a Quick story - Went to Dealer A made to feel like I was doing them a favor by coming in. Salesman didn't even give me his name. Went to Dealer B on a referral when I told someone about dealings with Dealer A. Dealer B said they would take good care of me and get me the best price. Price came back higher than Dealer B. Saw Gateway online and wanted to go there but Dealer B said, don't trust Gateway they don't honor their prices. So I went to Gateway, met Jose and was treated very well and worked out a fair price and purchased the vehicle that day. The amazing thing is I told the two previous dealers that I had already sold my prior vehicle, had the cash and was needing to buy a truck. Gateway delivered. Jose Gonzalez delivered. Bought a used Chevrolet Silverado with many miles on the odometer. Took it home and truck started shaking and engine line came on. Took it back and they said they would get it fixed, picked it up four days odometer. Took it home and truck started shaking and engine line came on. Took it back and they said they would get it fixed, picked it up four days later and drove off, drove it less than a block and truck started shaking and engine light came on. Immediately took it back they kept it for two complete weeks and the Service Advisor said nothing was wrong with it and that they could not duplicate the shaking in the truck. I took it home and to this day the light still comes on and the truck shakes but eventually it turns off and the shaking ends. It is obvious they would not fix it since I paid cash and was bought as is even though this happened as soon as I bought it. I will take it to another dealership and rest assure they will find exactly what is wrong with it and it will cost me a pretty penny. I worked at a dealership in the same Autoplex and in the 10 years I sold cars new and used I never had an unsatisfied customer. Beware when buying used specially if you pay cash. Will never come back to this dealership. More
