On June 8th, '22 I bought a 2015 Camry from Ed Morse Delray Toyota. That was one of the easiest car buying experiences I have ever had, and I have bought a lot of cars over the years (I bought my first Delray Toyota. That was one of the easiest car buying experiences I have ever had, and I have bought a lot of cars over the years (I bought my first car in 1972). Thank you Tyler and Byron, my sales associates. But the story doesn't end there. About 5 weeks later, the car needed a fairly major repair and I had only driven it 740 miles in those 5 weeks. I purchased it out of warranty and it was not a certified pre-owned car, so I knew the repairs would be my responsibility. But it just didn't feel right. So I went back to the dealership to see what they would do. After explaining the situation to Jovani Caprio, he agreed that even though the car was sold "As-Is, NO WARRANTY" and even though there was no legal obligation on their part, he too felt that there was still a certain unspoken expectation that, when one buys a used car, even one with no warranty, the vehicle shouldn't need an expensive repair that soon and with such little usage after the purchase. To make a long story short (if it's not already too late for that?), Ed Morse Delray Toyota, at Jovani's recommendation, covered the entire cost of the repair, including a new 4-wheel alignment and a shuttle service ride home and back to the dealership when the car was ready, so I wouldn't have to wait at the dealership. I'm impressed. Kudos to you guys. More
