We purchased a 2020 Toyota Tundra from Kam at the Salina Dealership on July 7th. The car buying experience for my wife and I in the past was like nails on a chalkboard...I can say that Kam and Javier made Dealership on July 7th. Went and test drve the Honda Odyssey with them. Loved the van. All I asked for was the all season floor mats with the gentleman that went out with me. He said that wouldn’t be an issue. When he delivered the van to us I asked about the mats and he said they didn’t have any in stock I asked him if they included it in the purchase agreement and he said he wasn’t sure. I asked him if there would be an additional charge and he said there wouldn’t be. He just needed to talk to his manager. Kam texted me and said they wouldn’t honor it because they didn’t have any knowledge of it. Also I didn’t get a military discount because I wouldn’t use their financing. I think that is wrong. You should give the discount to those who serve our nation. I will NOT recommend this dealership or buy from them ever again. More

Conklin will not help my stranded 700 miles from home. Conklin Chevrolet Salina has a great service department, a bit expensive but they get problems fixed. They have been the sole maintainer of my wonderful 2015 new style Impala. The Impala transmission failed, under warranty, 700 miles away, now over a month later I still do not have the car back. Conklin outright refuses to assist - what good is a dealer if they won't back you up when you need help? I want Chevrolet to thrive, they are important part of our culture and we need them. But GM appears to be an antique, feudal organization that cannot cooperate with itself. Almost every GM employee I contact repeats the same phrase "I'm sorry, there is nothing I can do, my hands are tied", and cannot refer me to anyone who can assist. Completely UNSATISFACTORY Sales Service! I actually want to give them ZERO stars but Google reviews will not permit it! I read many reviews about car dealerships in Salina and felt as comfor I actually want to give them ZERO stars but Google reviews will not permit it! I read many reviews about car dealerships in Salina and felt as comfortable as possible about the reviews for Conklin Cars and most salespersons. However, after dealing with them today, specifically salesman Kam and Business Manager Larry, I can tell you the reviews here on Google, Yelp and other sites are relatively meaningless and I will never deal with them again or recommend Conklin Salina to anyone. The truth cannot change after the deal and handshake is made. Period. If you go to pay for the car and the paperwork does not support what the salesman told you, the truth has not changed...they knowingly are lying to you. In our case, our salesman Kam looked us (my elderly parents and I) in the eye and shook our hands based upon a set price and understood warranty of a certified used car. Then when confronted about the warranty paperwork on the car just prior to writing a check for full price of the car, Kam complete changed what he told us prior to shaking our hands about the warranty (supposedly based upon the great deal he got us...). If I had not been there my elderly parents would not have thought to ask to see all warranty paperwork prior to paying for the car and would have been completely misled on the warranty for the used car. As a military service member, I find this kind of service completely UNSATISFACTORY and I hope all who read this review take my advice. More
