The service here was great - I was having issues because I had an insurance device plugged into the OBD port, and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and update my software. Mike Theisen is a superb Director of SM Volvo & excels in delivering gold standard customer service, which is the extreme opposite of the very poor & deficit customer care attitude & inept service I have exp delivering gold standard customer service, which is the extreme opposite of the very poor & deficit customer care attitude & inept service I have experienced with Volvo USA customer care/relations department. Were it not for Mike Theisen & his intervention to resolve issues either ignored or poorly dealt with by Volvo USA customer care/relations department, I would have forever abandoned my 35 years of devotion to the Volvo brand. Robert & Klaus excel in providing excellent service at the SM Volvo service department, no doubt influenced by Mike Theisen’s brilliant, insightful leadership & being a stellar customer care leader & role model. Quite disappointing to learn yesterday the former manager at SM Volvo, Casey Turner is no longer working at this dealership. He too, provided outstanding customer care. I believe customer service is the single most important driver for achieving brand loyalty & the Volvo USA Corporate management of their USA customer care/relations department has long been an department in need of serious attention, meaningful & enduring improvement. It is a tipping point for which I am aware drove other Volvo brand loyalists to have abandoned the Volvo brand. More
