This review is 1 star ONLY because Yelp doesn't allow ZERO STARS. Of the 20+ car purchases I've been through, the purchase from Marietta Toyota was BY FAR the WORST I've ever experienced. Every step of t ZERO STARS. Of the 20+ car purchases I've been through, the purchase from Marietta Toyota was BY FAR the WORST I've ever experienced. Every step of the process both before the purchase and after was riddled with rudeness, incompetence, and disrespect. If you want a car dealer to treat you like $hit and screw up all your paperwork, Marietta Toyota is the place for you. They will try to sell you a new vehicle with one key, and ask you to pay $500 for a second key. They will lose your insurance information, and then never make a single attempt to contact you after the purchase to complete your title and plate registration, despite having your email and phone number. You will have to call them, endure extreme disrespect and rudeness. Not just once, but over a dozen times. Why? Because they are incompetent. Then they will claim they never got you license plate number to transfer your tag to the newly purchased vehicle, even though they physically unscrewed your plate from your trade in vehicle and screwed it into the new one. Again, they won't be contacting you to resolve this issue, You'll have to call them some more and get rudeness and hang ups. After that, they will not submit the paperwork to the warranty company for the extended warranty you purchased for thousands of dollars. So again, enjoy making repeated phone calls for weeks and dealing with the rudeness and incompetence to resolve the matter. Take note of the replies to people's reviews from the business. Loaded with narcissism and gaslighting, I can't wait to see what sort of crap they reply to me with.. "We're truly sorry your experience" " We're truly sorry to hear about your experience and any frustration it may have caused" "We're sorry to hear about your experience" "We understand your dissatisfaction" "We apologize that you were frustrated by your experience with our sales team" Clearly Marietta Toyota doesn't care, their replies all blame the customer. I was negotiating with the dealership to purchase a used GLS450 and the dealership was not transparent about few things like - 1) Switch to fold the second row seats were broken 2) Massage seats not working GLS450 and the dealership was not transparent about few things like - 1) Switch to fold the second row seats were broken 2) Massage seats not working 3) Missing key fob 4) Missing floor mats. We noticed items 1 & 2 during test drive and during negotiation, the sales manager said they would take care of that, but during final paperwork only 1 was included and I didn't want to make it an issue and continued signing it. After signing the paperwork but before delivery, when I asked for items 3 & 4, I was told that they would not address these issues because it was never brought up earlier. As a dealer, they have more information on the vehicle than I do, and should have discussed it in good faith but they never did that and I suppose it was purposefully suppressed to complete the sale. No buyer normally would ask if the car had 2 keys and had all the floor mats during negotiation. During the different stages of the deal (like test drive, negotiation, paperwork), I was told that the car is JD power certified and clean without any issues and has passed 165+ points inspection. The car is JD power certified and the carpets, mats checkbox is also checked (refer attachment line 112). These were suppressed until the point of completion of paper work, and even after making several attempts in the past week, the dealership is unwilling to resolve the issue. I was told by the salesrep if I can fix the items and take reimbursement, and I agreed to that. Now the dealership went back on that as well. During negotiation, I had walked out of the deal because the vehicle did not have a feature I was looking for, but the dealership made several followup calls to do business with me, and after the sale, they don't even care. I would never recommend Marietta Toyota to anyone because they are interested only on sale & profits, but don't care about transparency, customer service and satisfaction. If you are in the USED car market, LOOK ELSEWHERE because you will regret later. I am updating my review and rating to 5 stars because the GSM Tim Hackney reached out yesterday and offered to resolve the highlighted issues (no questions asked). I am happy with the response and the steps taken by the dealership to address my concerns and I truly believe that the management takes feedback very seriously. More
