Worst service. Sat in show room for 4 hours after driving 3 to get there with a “VIP” meeting scheduled, turns out nothing was scheduled. They had car warmed up so I would not notice hard start when I got there. Oh and not to mention they lied to me and stated I needed a co-signer and wasn’t approved on my own. When I go back to Eddies office in the financial department, I notice paperwork on the desk that I assume I wasn’t intended to see as it was pushed back past the co-signer paperwork. I was approved on my own. I initially started raging, got up to leave, and stated how disgusted and disappointed I was in this action. In popped another financial person Patrick Sliney, who tried calming me down taking $500 off of the car and getting me a less than $200 a month car payment. Why you ask? To cover up their mistakes so I would not take further action on this. In a desperate moment I needed that car so I agreed to sign, although I feel this is highly illegal and inappropriate. On the 3 hour drive home I get a call from Eddie, stating I “forgot a very important signature” and needed to come back immediately. How was this missed? Of corse I was driving so I could not answer. Not even 10 minutes later I get another call from Eddie again, “Disregard that message we will figure it out”. So what does that mean? They had to of foraged my signature. Now just a short 4 months later, check engine light is on, bad VTC actuator, bad catalytic converter, bad timing chain, bad battery, right from axel is bad. This is going to cost thousands. The car was used and at 120,000 miles so of corse I could not get any warranty. I want this dealership to fix these problems, I want them to service this horrible vehicle they sold me as I’m still financing and should not have to pay for their mistakes and shadiness. You have a week to respond Elk Grove Toyota or I will be taking further actions. I have all the paperwork ready, original carfax still in hand. More
