I recently completed a lease buyout at Fremont Toyota on October 29, 2025, for my 2025 Prius Plug-in Prime. During final document signing, I was informed for the first time that purchasing an add-on item (m October 29, 2025, for my 2025 Prius Plug-in Prime. During final document signing, I was informed for the first time that purchasing an add-on item (minimum $500) was mandatory “in lieu of an administrative service fee.” This requirement was never disclosed upfront. Under time pressure, I selected the SafeLink package for $499. The next day, I contacted finance representative NH requesting to switch to the ForeverStart battery package at the same price. He refused, citing that SafeLink was “permanent and irreversible”—an explanation that seems technically questionable. Sales representative Matt Alokozai attempted to help but was unsuccessful. I left voicemails for Finance Director Lisa Banks without response. After three weeks, I sent a detailed email explaining the situation. Ms. Banks responded promptly with a sincere apology, explaining she never received my voicemail. She immediately resolved the issue by allowing me to keep SafeLink and providing ForeverStart at no additional charge. Her professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction turned a frustrating experience into a positive resolution. I appreciate her responsiveness and hope the dealership implements better upfront disclosure of mandatory charges in future transactions. More

Kenneth E. was great to work with. He sold me a car at a reasonable price and even came in on his day off to deliver the vehicle. He made sure to get the second was great to work with.
