The dealer was to fix codes related to park aids and cameras along with EGR. I left a $1000 dollar deposit. I paid for and picked up the truck on 8/9/2025. The dealership informed us that the fuel gauge was not working and we agreed to fix it at home so the truck could be used for work. The truck died on I80 less than 5 miles from the dealership with a low pressure fuel pump code. The dealership towed it back that day and had it for two more weeks. During that time the low pressure fuel pump and fuel gauge were supposedly fixed. An issue they found was that the fuel fill hose was kinked resulting in poor venting. Per Brad the manager at the shop believed the bed had been removed prior to them removing it. I picked the truck up on 8/15/25 and drove it home. When I got home I noticed the check park aid light was coming on. Once home I hooked up the trailer and the trailer lights did not work. On Saturday 8/23/25 I put new tires on it and checked fuses for the lights. None were bad. On Monday I drove to Topeka for a VIN inspection and also a DOT inspection so I could get to work with the truck. During that time I noticed a popping noise coming from the front end suspension. The reason I had not heard it earlier was due to the mud tires that were on the truck that I replaced. From Topeka I drove to Fredonia Ks for a commercial tag and then home. Noises continued every time I turned right or left. On the way home I contacted a dealership to take a look at it on Tuesday. On Tuesday I took it to Lubbers Ford in Cheney Ks. They found that the front differential was leaking, the 4 wheel drive hubs were in the locked position, the joints for the front end were going out and the pinion gear on the front end was loose. On the rear end the wiring harness had bad connections resulting in the trailer lights not working and the park aid light coming on and the harness needing to be replaced. It appears the bed has been taken off and the harness has been damaged. At this point I took it home and it has sat in the driveway. I called the dealership Friday and Monday 9/2/2025 and they informed me they would not fix it. At this point I have had the truck a week and put only 900 miles on it. Per the dealership I bought it as is and they have no liability. They had it for 3 weeks, multiple mechanics, and nobody saw any of this. I have only been given the sales contract. I have asked for all repairs but nothing at this point. 9/2/25 Lubbers estimate is $7025 1 877 944 4902 Ford service Update. Add on new front brakes. Apparently they do no inspections. $1000. Still have less than 100) miles on the truck since purchase. More
