My Review Of Atchley Ford:
I bought my Ford 500 from Mike Galvan back in 2006. I e-mailed him on October 9th asking him if he would be available Thursday night, October 11th. He got back to me within an hour letting me know his schedule.
My wife and I showed up to drive a 2013 Ford Escape which I had researched online. Mike had a younger sales rep, Mike McGuire, show us the car. He spent 1/2 hour going over the features of the car and answering numerous questions about the car. There were no "I don't know" answers from the rep. We drove the Escape for about 15 minutes. When we arrived back at the dealership Mike Galvan asked us if we would like a price for the Escape. I told him that it wasn't necessary since I planned to look at a couple more SUVs. He indicated that pricing the vehicle would be no problem, and he gave me a price in about 5 minutes as he looked over his numbers. When he showed me the price that he had arrived at, I was a bit shocked as the price was $1,300 lower than Edmunds.com had estimated.
I told both Mikes that I would let them know by Saturday, and they agreed. There was no hard sell or arbitrary time limits set for the price. Thus, I went home to think about the car. The next day, Friday, I e-mailed Mike Galvan, telling him that I would purchase the car on Saturday as long as I didn't have to sit through the "Undercoating," Fabric Protector," and "Extended Warranty" speech by the finance guy. Mike agreed, and when I came in on Saturday, Mike lived up to his word. We were in and out of the Finance office in 15 minutes. Mike McGuire showed me the Sync feature and set up the account for me. The entire buying experience on Saturday lasted an hour.
Why do I recommend Mike Galvan and Atchley Ford:
1) Excellent Price
2) No Hard Sell
3) No pressure to buy the extra services
4) The best experience I have had buying a new car
