I took my Maverick in for service again and as usual it was all done within a hour while waiting in a comfortable lobby with free coffee and snacks. This Auto dealership went out of it's way to do a factory recall for my truck. I have never had any contact with Campbell Ford in the past. I had a appointment with a Elkhart dealership to do this work. But recall for my truck. I have never had any contact with Campbell Ford in the past. I had a appointment with a Elkhart dealership to do this work. But after picking up my truck from this Elkhart location and asking them is everything ok. As I was driving home, I stopped to look at the paperwork. It showed only a Oil change. I called the Elkhart dealership, they said couldn't do the recall on this day. Even though a appointment was made with their service manager saying it would be done right after the Oil change was completed. I was extremely upset and Vowed to Never go back to a Dealership that Fails to meet it's expectations. Two days later, out of the Blue. A service consultant from Campbell Ford called me. The female caller saw that my truck needed this Recall Work and asked if I would like their technician to do that work at my home. I was very happy that this was going to be taking care of! The technician came out on the scheduled day and quickly resolved the issue. The technician explained what the recall was about and that he just needed to reprogram the transmission computer. I was very happy with this Great Service and I be taking my truck to Campbell Ford in the future instead of the Disappointing Elkhart dealership!! More
