I phoned into the dealership to report that the new Ram 1500 that they very recently delivered to me had a rat's nest under the dashboard. They left the truck outside for a very long period of time at their dealership and a rat must have made a home inside of the truck. This was confirmed by my local dealership whom I love but did not have the truck I was seeking so I bought from Beck. We wanted this truck so badly that we paid sticker price for it. There is plenty of money in Beck's hands to play with in this situation. My local dealership is Firkins Chrysler in Bradenton, Florida. I highly recommend them. Beck wanted me to deliver the truck back to them but would not assure me that the chewed-up wiring harness and any other damaged parts would be replaced with factory parts. Without assurances that they would replace the damaged wiring with factory wiring, I could not send the truck to them for repair. This is a new truck. We have had it for less than two weeks. The rat's nest was an old nest. This happened at Beck's yard, not my yard. They even said that they did not trust Firkin's diagnoses. They said they had to diagnose because Firkins Chrysler could be lying and cheating. All I wanted is for replacement parts to come from the Chrysler factory, but they would not guarantee that would happen. It is easy to give 5 stars when everything goes well but a real 5-star company comes through when times are tough. I will pay Firkins Chrysler about $2,000. to have the damaged parts replaced with Chrysler parts. A new truck should be repaired with only new Chrysler parts and the Beck dealership should be honest and foot the bill, but they won't. I don't understand why the Finance Department insisted on handling the complaint. That was their first mistake. This issue should have gone immediately to management for decision. More

This is not my first visit to your Service Department. I am 76 and I find your service to be the best around. I am talking from Florida to Virginia, and to Maine (retired military). The staff is pleasant, keeps me updated and points out problem areas. While waiting for my vehicle to be serviced, I walked up front and brought a car from a good Salesman named Scott Rose. And, I might add the Sales Department is equally great. I don’t know who is in charge of the Customer Service training but let them know their training works! The only recommendations I have is to offer another choice of diet sugar other than that nasty sweeten low; like equal. The choice of coffee is great! Lastly, which another service department did in New Jersey, was to put a little bag of fresh pretzels in the car when you were ready to drive away. Now, their service was not as good as yours, but I can still taste those fresh pretzels to this day. More
