Hello, my name is Paul Hall, Service Manager at Patriot Subaru. My wife and I have owned 4 Subarus between us and I cannot imagine working any other than at Patriot Subaru! In my free time, you will find me on the lake with a fishing rod in hand trying to beat my personal best bass at 7.2 lbs! Nothing brings me more joy than spending my time in the Great Outdoors, hunting, fishing, yard clean up, cutting down trees or just sit in the sun and soak it all in. I am blessed to also bring my dog Ruger to work with me nearly every day, such a good boy!!! Next time you stop by, come find him and see if he will do a trick

I'm not sure what is happening with the Service Department at Patriot Subaru in Saco. I have been a faithful, consistent customer of Patriot Service since I purchased my Impreza in 2017. I have b Department at Patriot Subaru in Saco. I have been a faithful, consistent customer of Patriot Service since I purchased my Impreza in 2017. I have brought my vehicle in for oil changes and required maintenance every 6 months. In 2024, my vehicle was serviced 4 times in 6 months. The first visit (January, 2024)was for an oil change when they noted I needed new front brakes, RF control arm, and RUB bushing for approx. $1100. They completed the work one week later (visit #2, also January 2024). Three months later, (visit #3, April, 2024) I brought my vehicle back to check the rear brakes which had just been replaced 2 years prior - they completed the work and offered a discount. At this time, they also did a multipoint inspection which included checking "tire wear and underbody inspection." Nothing was noted needing repair with the multipoint inspection. Visit #4, July, 2024, within this 6 month period was for a scheduled routine oil change and Maine state inspection. Since I had incurred some medical issues, my car was only driven 448 miles since the Patriot multipoint inspection was done in April. I was expecting an easy pass on the Maine state inspection. I was shocked when the service rep told me my car failed the state inspection and needed $4000 worth of work to pass.(Tires, front and rear struts, LF control arm) I gave permission for the routine oil change and sought out a second opinion for the supposed need for $4000 worth of work. The second opinion agreed I needed new tires but that was all. The bill was $769 for new tires and the inspection. I then went for a tire alignment to a regional service center. I requested that they check the front and rear struts. They confirmed what the second opinion had stated - no need to replace struts. I am very disappointed with Patriot Service. I was totally blindsided by a multipoint inspection in April that did not note tire wear or questionable "underbody inspection" then less than 3 months later and only 448 miles later I am told I needed $4000 worth of work. This is a follow up to the review about state inspection and my Forester. I had rated the experience 1 star. After the rating, I got a call from the service manager and they offered to test the alignment and my Forester. I had rated the experience 1 star. After the rating, I got a call from the service manager and they offered to test the alignment on my car and if it was found to be off they would offer a credit on replacement tires as the car had about 26,000 miles and the tires were badly worn and would not pass inspection. They delivered on that promise. They put four new premium tires on the car under warranty. It was a great outcome. Thanks Patriot. More

Buyer beware By far the worst service staff I have ever dealt with. Make sure you verify everything has been checked with your used car as I drove off the lot with By far the worst service staff I have ever dealt with. Make sure you verify everything has been checked with your used car as I drove off the lot with no engine coolant and less than half life on brakes that now have to be replaced after 6k miles. And trying to get any response/resolution has taken 8 months. Love my car just not the service around it. Buyer beware More

No stars On two occasions my new Subaru broke down on a highway off ramp with no warning signs. Both times no gear oil in the differential, both times within On two occasions my new Subaru broke down on a highway off ramp with no warning signs. Both times no gear oil in the differential, both times within a few days of a full service at patriot, where they “drained and filled” the differentials. Unlimited drive train warranty company (third party) doesn’t cover lack of maintenance, and patriot refused to admit fault. Up until a little over a year ago I had all my recommended services done at patriot and on time. Now that I don’t use Patriot in Saco, my car runs great and always has gear oil in the differentials. I wouldn’t trust their company, and am vocal at telling others my experience. If your looking for a vehicle in Saco Maine, go to Prime or any other dealer but Patriot. More

Don't stand behind their product .Have a 2017 Legacy Sport that has bubbles in the clear coat and they are saying it is from outside forces. They didn't even push to get it repaired , .Have a 2017 Legacy Sport that has bubbles in the clear coat and they are saying it is from outside forces. Accommodating Meant to write this in May. While celebrating our anniversary in May touring around southern Maine we heard a noise in the rear of our car that kept Meant to write this in May. While celebrating our anniversary in May touring around southern Maine we heard a noise in the rear of our car that kept getting worse. It was 1:30 Sat.P.M., and we pondered what to do. We were about 45 minutes from Patriot and decided we would try to get there hoping the service dept. would be open. Thank God, they were. They asked what was happening, took us in in about 20 mins., diagnosed the problem, told us the price and how long it would take. They said they may not get it done that day and that we may have to come back for it on Mon.. That would have been a major inconvenience since we live on an island in Penobscot Bay and we planned on being home Sun.. Well he said it would be tight, but they would do their best. Low and behold, it was done in about half the time and we received a 10% discount on a rather expensive part and the labor. We also got a voucher for a free carwash. They made the best out of a mess. Service here is the best. Prices are decent and hey, cars coat money. I drive a lot, 500 miles a week at least, so Paul, the weekend service manager, sees me every 2months on a Saturday. Paul never has me fi coat money. I drive a lot, 500 miles a week at least, so Paul, the weekend service manager, sees me every 2months on a Saturday. Paul never has me fix something I don't need to. I've kept up with regular matenence and let me just say...70,000 miles later...I have not had to do any major fixes. Needless to say, I am always pleased. Highly recommend. Also, they are 4 legged friend friendly! If I needed to, I could even bring my dog in. They are always constantly doing fundraisers...just good people and great service here! More
