Terrible service and experience Purchased a "certified preowned" 2012 Charger recently on a friday. Prior to a test drive, I inspected the car. Within minutes, I find the hood release is dangling down by the ebrake pedal, coolant was barely visible in the coolant overflow, and the oil dip stick had been broken off in the tube leading to the motor, along with several scratches that werw half heartedly touched up. Decided to test drive the vehicle anyway. Had a "rubbing" sound at low mph to the left, and the wheel was off to the right but pulled left. We strike a deal anyway as I was promised everything would be taken care of. I inform the salesman that I want the coolant topped off prior to leaving. I leave the car there for about 2hrs to handle whatever issues they had to take care of, and finish paperwork. I received the car with nothing done, and find the fog light out. I take the car for the weekend as is. I arrived Monday with a list of issues, A/C not working, drivers headlight and fog light out, alignment issue, vibration at highway speeds, and the previous issues mentioned. I leave with a loaner for 3 days. When I returned, there's still no sign of coolant, and the rubbing issue continues, along with the headlight going out again. Back for service again for the headlight and alignment. All is done and as I'm handed keys I'm handed a pamphlet for body work. The tech accidentally scratched the front bumper while being serviced. It happens, but what else am I going to run into at this dealership? It's apparent the certified preowned work done on the car wasn't thorough, and had many issues sitting on the lot as if they hoped the waxed black paint and shiny chrome wheels would suffice and keep the new owner out of their hair. Well, out of 11 days of ownership, it's been in for service for 4. I received the car back, and now the heated/cooled cup holders don't work. Minimal, but they were working prior to the delivery for service that day. So now I'm left with body work and a few other things that need to be taken care of. This dealership prides themselves on NOT being a car wash and oil change type of dealership, but that's basically what I got for a price they wouldn't budge on. For a car that was "certified" it sure does have a lot of issues and the dealerships quality of work is questionable at best. I've called twice and asked for the dealerships general manager to return my call to no avail. What I did get was the body shop manager (I assume). That doesn't suffice. Yesterday I received a call that my registration and license plates that were transferred from my trade in are available. Today, the plates are no where to be found. Still waiting to hear back from them. So here I sit, waiting to schedule another appointment, questioning the dealerships competency. I'm hoping to have this car handled properly over the next few weeks and never have to go back for any serious work. My father planned to purchase a new durango here, but no longer will based on the reviews on here and with my personal experience. Hope anyone that reads this takes this as a lesson learned and it helps them make an educated decision when purchasing their car from this dealership. More

I brought it in to the closest repair shop I could find. After evaluating my brakes, everything was fine. They told me it was a recall on my car and only the dealer could fix it. I called Nielsen Dodge of East Hanover, NJ, telling them my story and how unsafe I felt. They did not seem to care of my well being and told me they could schedule me a month out. The sense of urgency baffled me. Clearly not the response I was looking for. Then I called the next closest Jeep dealership in Morristown. They scheduled me right away and come to find out, it was a recall that was previously "fixed" by Nielsen Dodge, but installed incorrectly!!!! Hence why my brakes failed on me. One of the many reasons that I will no longer get my car serviced there. More

NEVER BUY A CAR FROM HERE! Purchased my "cerfified pre-owned" 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about a month and a half ago. Within the first 2 weeks the power steering fluid Purchased my "cerfified pre-owned" 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about a month and a half ago. Within the first 2 weeks the power steering fluid was leaking all over the place. Went back to the dealership concerned & they couldn't take my car in for 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I brought the car in, have a voicemail from the service dept. saying they were replacing my power steering rack & cooler. My husband is a mechanic and took pictures of everything. We got the car home and saw a huge puddle of power steering fluid in my driveway, proceeded to check the work they did & found they did NOTHING. My car was there for 3 days, not one bolt was removed, the power steering rack WAS NOT REPLACED like they said. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! I could not even get a copy of the service report when I picked up my car they said they'd mail it to me and now I know why...because they didn't do a xxxx thing. Now that I am trying to contact someone about this serious problem I can not get a phone call back from a single person. I will be going there to attempt to speak with someone in person since apparently they do not want to take responsibility for the work they didn't do. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY! I am very disappointed. More

Oil change, tire rotation, windshield repair Karen and the others at the service center were very helpful, and treated me and my vehicle with the utmost care and respect! My service was done quickly and efficiently, and all of the service members greeted me and were very friendly. When I needed my windshield repaired, they called in an expert to make sure it was done well, and gave me an awesome loaner car to use while my car was in the shop. All of the service was very competitively priced! More
