Like everyone else here, I had a bait and switch experience. Their website had a very clear price listed. In the small print on the website it said special pricing was available to all.. it was a n experience. Their website had a very clear price listed. In the small print on the website it said special pricing was available to all.. it was a new car, and their price was $1.5k under MSRP which is slightly better than our local dealer. I called up to talk to a salesperson to get an out the door price and they said to come in and they can write up the actual fees. I went in the next day for a test drive. I told the salesmen I saw the ad for the specific vehicle I wanted. When he came back with pricing, it was $10k over MSRP with market adjustments. I told him I came in there specifically because their website said this was the price and no strings attached. He said no, that was wrong.. I stood my ground and said for a second time, no this is wrong, you advertised this pricing.. he again said that pricing is wrong.. i showed him the screenprint of the website on my phone and again he said there was nothing he could do.. at that point I was done, so I stood up and said thank you for your help I'm going elsewhere.. he looked at me with shock in his face like nobody else has not engaged with their games. I walked out of the dealership, and then they proceeded to call me that evening. I let it go to voicemail but they kept calling. So getting sick of seeing the phone ring i finally picked up.. it was the manager himself called me and said he would do whatever to make it right. I specifically told him there is nothing you can do because you broke the trust. I told him to take me off their followup list and not to contact me.. they did not listen and then called me a few more times the following week obviously tone death to my utter disgust with them. My original salesmen. Called me the following Saturday morning at 830 am saying he had improtant info.. i cut him off right away and told him I ended up buying a different car from another dealership that honored their advertised pricing and didn't try and play games.. Stay far away from this place!!! I feel really bad for all the people that get swindled by this dealership which is why I feel it's my civic duty to report them!! More

They don’t return calls or emails to customer once the sale has been completed. There is a refund of over $4,000 owed to me and they have not responded to multiple voice messages since the purchase was made in February 2022 until now June 3, 2022. I would not recommend this dealer whatsoever. More

I should have read all these reviews before wasting my time, I experienced the exact same thing most of the others did, deceptive practices on their online prices, this dealership should be investigated a time, I experienced the exact same thing most of the others did, deceptive practices on their online prices, this dealership should be investigated and will be, guaranteed I've made the appropriate calls, God knows how many people they have ripped off, from price gouging, to hidden fees, to stealing there trade ins, you name it they are doing it... karma definitely is a xxxxx. Every time I called, they claimed there was a deposit on it, but it could be mine if I was willing to come in today and pay for unnecessary maintenance packages. It's amazing how these mysterious "deposits" kept falling through. And I have no doubt that they would try to charge me the "inflation fee" if I did go back. They are scammers and liars. I'm going to Carvana instead, where the availability and cost are certain. At least I wasted Zeigler's time by test driving the car. Now I know I want it, from someone else. More

This place is a complete scam! The price they advertise online is far from the price you will pay out the door. I drove over 4 hours to look at a car, made an appointment and never even spoke with the person whom I made the appointment with. It took over 30 minutes for them to "find" the car and bring it to the front to test drive. They acted like they had never even heard of the online form (with NADA values) they asked me to fill out for my trade in. The trade in value they gave me while at the dealership was about $10,000 below the NADA values! They added approximately $12,000 in fees to the advertised price, that included my trade in! A car that was advertised for $50,000 (which had actually just dropped in price by $1000 from the day before I went to look at the car), was going to cost me $62,000! The sales managers kept trying to run numbers on their calculators right in front of me weren't even running the correct calculations (I'm in financing for a living, so I knew exactly what numbers should have been put in). Then dealing with the finance department was whole other experience. The man I dealt with was extremely rude! I just asked a couple of questions prior to me seeing the vehicle so I could set up my own financing, and he was beyond rude because I wasn't going to finance through them. STAY VERY FAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! More

Made a cash offer at 9am and after several calls back without a return call, magically by 4:30, they had been working on a deal on the car already with someone else. Two weeks later, shockingly enough the same car was still advertised for sale and I got the same run around trying to get someone to return a call. I really wanted the car, but this place is so shady I’m walking away. More

You can decide on your own but in my opinion the magnitude of deception and predatory Sales practice was above the norms of typical sales transactions. I contacted the Zeigler Chevrolet in Schaumburg via Autotrader. I was interested in certified Chevy Volts. Zeigler had some, however they were not listed as certified. I asked the dealer two questions: 1) Is it possible to certify the car? 2) If so, how much does it cost to certify? I received a response from Veronica – “Internet Concierge” on Saturday stating that certification is definitely an “option”. That left me with one last question – how much it costs to certify. I called the dealer and talked to Karla. She declined to provide me even a range and pushed aggressively for me to come to the dealer. They said they were very busy, so we agreed on specific time. Karla said the car will be brought up / disinfected and I should ask for her. I arrived at the dealer at the time we agreed upon but Karla was nowhere to be found. A random sales associate said he would take care of me. The car I discussed with Karla, was not ready and it had to be pulled as there were 2 other cars in front of it. The car was covered with ice and snow. To my surprise the sales associate affirmed that – ALL their volts are certified. Now - I was confused since Veronica stated it was an “option” and the listing did not mention a word about cars being certified. We went to price discussion. The listing on the dealer’s website was $13,650 – I expected extra $1500 for tax doc fee etc. so roughly $15,200 The Sales associate came and ask me to pay ~$21,000!!! They claimed there is extra $1500 “protection” – $2,800 extra for certification plus some other fees. The dealer asked me how much I was willing to pay. He came back after talking to his manager and said they can do $13,650 + $2,800 for certification plus tax. In essence - they high balled to see if it “sticks” and then they lowered the price given my apprehension. From my perspective the lack of respect for me as customer was just disappointing. At this point I was done with heir deceptional sales practice and left the dealer. I understand we all try to make money and it costs to run the business; however, these sales practices are simply offending and predatory. Beware of them - don’t get excited about the car and find a dealer that can treat you fairly and with dignity. These guys have a lot to learn if they want to stay in the business. Thank you for your time, More
