I purchased a car in 2020 from this dealership. The sales person sold me a warranty that would detail my car for the life of the car. I found out that This dealership charged my card 5 days later on a card they saved on file without my authorization for detail, that was supposed to be included in the warranty. STAY AWAY FROM THE NEW HIGHLANDER ! DEFECTS ! Purchased a new 2016 Highlander Platinum, right from the beginning every time you come to a stop there would be a pronounced thump coming from the rea Purchased a new 2016 Highlander Platinum, right from the beginning every time you come to a stop there would be a pronounced thump coming from the rear suspension. Toyota had no fix for this until 6 months later. They replaced the part they thought was causing the noise however after the replacement the sound was worse. Toyota rep thought I received the original part and not the newest updated part so we scheduled another replacement. Noise still there after the multiple part replacements. Now Toyota says this is an inherent and acceptable noise that has no danger or effect on driving. This is there fix ? I stated to the dealer and Rep. I will not accept paying 45k for a vehicle that I have to listen to a thumping noise every time this vehicle comes to a stop. By the way Toyota rep & dealer stated they drove numerous new highlanders and found the same noise and said it was acceptable to them. Well this is not acceptable to me after paying 45k, I test drove numerous other vehicles & never experienced anything like this defect in the new Highlanders. STAY AWAY FROM THESE HIGHLANDERS !!! More

best experience ever I went there about a month back and i was immediately greeted by Rob whom took care of the service process. He throughly explained everything and was very curteous. The service director ankeet came and made sure everything was running smooth and we were happy. I felt my business was more then appreciated and it was a nice feeling. I have had terrible dealings with lombard toyota where i intially purchased the vehicle. I wish i went to Elgin Toyota and thanks to those great employees i will continue to bring my business there More

I do not like buying cars but this is the best experience I have ever had with the process. I found the used car I liked on line, called in and spoke to Mike Herbert, Sales Professional, to confirm the price I have ever had with the process. He was waiting for my wife ( the car was for her) and I when we got there. We took a test drive and returned to his office to finalize the deal. In the process we met Bob Ellis, General Manager and Robert Soto, Finance Manager. Also Rob Starosta, Assistant Service Manager, was very helpful in getting some marks on the body corrected to my complete satisfaction. Everyone was friendly and helpful, an overall good experience.
