The salesperson Kourosh got me a great deal on a Camry, but I wasn't too happy in the finance office with being upsold on prepaid maintenance(after consulting the Internet, for a truly ridiculous price as but I wasn't too happy in the finance office with being upsold on prepaid maintenance(after consulting the Internet, for a truly ridiculous price as well, almost $3000 for 5 years/55k miles), being told it was cancelable for 2 years with full refund, and reading the contract to find out: 1. The full refund period is 30 days 2. There is an explicit clause in the contract saying "nothing you're told in the dealership that contradicts this contract is valid", which makes me feel like this is a common strategy Obviously you should keep your wits about you in the finance office of a car dealership but doesn't make it any less infuriating More
