My experience with EchoPark San Antonio has been one problem after another. I was told everything was ready for my purchase, so I arranged to have the vehicle picked up and transported over five hour problem after another. Once arrived, I was suddenly told additional verification and documentation were needed, leaving the person waiting at the dealership for another 3–4 hours. If the deal was not actually ready, that should have been communicated before the trip was made. To make matters worse, when the vehicle was delivered to me, I discovered it was practically on E. Since I had the car transported, I had no way of knowing the gas tank was almost empty until it arrived. The dealership apologized and told me they would send me a gas gift card for the inconvenience. That never happened. It was just another promise that was not kept. The biggest issue, however, has been the registration process. I am new to Texas and relied on the dealership to provide me with the proper documentation. I was given what I believed was a complete packet of paperwork. After being pulled over, I handed the officer my entire packet only to find out that I did not even have the proper temporary registration documentation. I have since learned there are issues with my title transfer and registration, and I am still trying to get answers. Being pulled over because a dealership failed to provide proper documentation is unacceptable and extremely stressful. Between being told the deal was “ready” when it wasn’t, waiting hours for verification, receiving a vehicle with almost no gas, being promised a gas card that was never sent, and now dealing with registration issues, this has been one of the most frustrating car-buying experiences I have ever had. I would strongly encourage anyone purchasing from this dealership—especially out-of-town buyers—to carefully review every document before leaving and not rely on verbal promises. Unfortunately, my experience has been filled with poor communication, broken promises, and unnecessary headaches after the sale. On top of everything they’re unresponsive and you I can’t get anyone on the phone to resolve my urgent issue; now I’m contacting the bank corporate resolution so hopefully they stop using them and can assist to resolve.
