My experience with Gainesville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has been amazing. Logan and Shawn were super helpful and very quick in diagnosing the issues with my jeep and even had it fixed within one day. Polite staff, poor service Do you enjoy sitting for long periods of time? Listening to the buzz of vending machines? Or, watching half your day pass before your eyes? If you answered yes to any or all long periods of time? Listening to the buzz of vending machines? Or, watching half your day pass before your eyes? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then Gainesville Dodge is the place for you! My wife made a 0800 appt for basic general maintenance: tire rotation and points inspection. We arrived prior to our appointed time and we’re about the 6-7 customer “in line”. We soon discovered that the “appointment” meant the same as if we just showed up on the door step. We were told we’d be done in 1.5 hours, which seemed like a long time for basic service, but we took in stride. While observing the overall snails’ pace of service, our vehicle sat in the parking lot where we originally parked until 11:15. At last, our vehicle’s “appt” was finally honored and it was taken into the service bay. At roughly 11:45, we were released from our guest lobby incarceration and were on our way. My wife and I are generally patient and understanding people, but we also know when our time is being wasted/not valued. We will never donate our time to Gainesville dodge ever again. The only positive aspect of our experience was the service department staff members we interacted with were polite and professional. We were also told that the vehicle needed a new alternate battery (to control the start stop) and quoted almost $300 for this- the Mopar website charges $120 for this battery, the quote for the battery without the installation was $210- $100 more through the dealership plus the charge to install it- anyone who does any research will stay away from this dealership.
