I had been using the service department at Lexus of Wilmington after we moved our UXH250 from New Jersey, they did an outstanding job. The initial customer experience at this dealership was profoundly unsatisfactory, particularly regarding the treatment received from the "internet sales" team. My offer to purchase was met with an unaccep profoundly unsatisfactory, particularly regarding the treatment received from the "internet sales" team. My offer to purchase was met with an unacceptable level of arrogance, dismissiveness, and disrespect. Despite escalating this concern to the General Sales Manager, I have yet to receive a response. Subsequently, I was transferred to another sales associate. While initially courteous, this individual quickly adopted the same disrespectful demeanor previously exhibited by the internet salesperson. This consistent pattern of behavior raises questions about the training and customer interaction protocols within your sales department. I had a genuine intent to complete a purchase at a competitive price. However, I was informed that I should consider myself "lucky not to be charged $5000 above MSRP." This statement exemplifies why many consumers harbor distrust towards automotive dealerships. I strongly advise potential customers to explore alternative dealerships that demonstrate a more reputable and customer-centric approach. More
