Yesterday I went in to see a car that was posted on the Facebook market place. The price when I got to the dealer was different from the listing posted and was not honored. Then I was required to give a $2 Facebook market place. The price when I got to the dealer was different from the listing posted and was not honored. Then I was required to give a $250 deposit without me even purchasing the car to “hold it.” The sales man kept changing prices and then requesting more money. I was to give a $1200 “down payment” that when analyzing prices didn’t even go into the total price of the car. I then realized I did not want to do business with them. Now I’m being told the $250 is apparently non refundable which was never explained to me. I hope others do not commit the same mistake as me in trusting the “good reviews” and thinking Alex, the sales man, was disclosing full honesty. More

When we needed a break to feed our kids and talk things over, he didn’t betray his nervousness about our leaving. I called him over lunch to clarify things and he subsequently continued to advocate for us with his managers while we were away. He teed up the financing conversation with his coworkers well so that some of the negotiating was already done. They fixed a faulty electronic component and plugged a hole in a tire from a screw while we finished the paperwork. Good experience. You’ve got to work for a better price, but that seems true pretty much everywhere. I’m confident we couldn’t have done much better elsewhere. We left without a full tank, but I’d still do it again. More
