Customer service is excellent. Sales is,... used car sales. I made a bad deal. I need a truck with a bed cover so I traded a Tacoma with a bed cover for a Tundra with a bed Sales is,... used car sales. I made a bad deal. I need a truck with a bed cover so I traded a Tacoma with a bed cover for a Tundra with a bed cover. At the completion of the deal, I learned the bed cover was removed. I was not made aware of the recall until AFTER I transferred title of my trade in. I should have halted the sale the moment I realized the cover was removed. I take responsibility for a bad deal. Lia sells cars. They did their job. I doubt they will lose a single sale from my misfortune, but I've recounted my experience across social media and I suspect I've driven more than one buyer to a different dealership. It's been 4 months. I've spent about $700 in trailer rentals because I NEED TO SECURE MY CONTENTS. Lia was obliged by the recall to remove the cover. Lia was also aware of the recall prior to the sale. I financed the Tundra. The financing includes the cover. Neither Lia nor Toyota has offered to make good on the defective cover. The only post-sale contact I've had with Lia is regarding my complaint with the NYS Attorney General. They've asked me to "take it down". Imagine spending $1500 for an item and having the vendor simply say "you can't have it". I own it, but I can't possess it and I can only replace it at a loss. More

I have been buying and now leasing my cars from Lia Toyota since early 70's and never had any problems. Your service dept. takes wonderful care of my car and always ready to serve my needs and my requests. I will only drive Toyota cars until I am unable to drive any more hopefully forever. I get good gas mileage, has all the safety features that I need, smooth riding car. I feel like a queen driving my new car. Vince gave me a wonderful deal and I can keep my monthly payments within my budget restraints. Thanks "guys" for your excellent service. Nicky Simone was my first sales rep so many years ago and he always greets me with a smile and a hug. Do not deal w VINCE Sales- I reached out to Lia interested in a specific vehicle there. I was connected to VINCE. I advised him that I have excellent credit, a xxxx near Sales- I reached out to Lia interested in a specific vehicle there. I was connected to VINCE. I advised him that I have excellent credit, a xxxx near brand new trade-in (2018), a down payment, and already have financing. I asked if he could improve on the trade-in offer since it was below kbb trade-in value and the lowest offer from all other local dealerships. He told me he would try to get me a higher offer and would call me back. I never heard back. It was only when someone I knew reached out to his boss that I heard from VINCE again. He called me back to "offer" an additional $500 dollars for my trade in. After more discussion and further thought I agreed to do the deal. Little did I realize that the same additional $500 dollars "offered" for my trade-in was added on to the selling price. I asked about this price difference and wasn't told much of an explanation but that with taxes and fees that is what it comes out to be. AFTER signing the contract it was then when I realized VINCE had mislead me! Instead of giving me an "additional" $500 towards my trade-in he added it to the selling price. Tell me that isn't sneaky! Even after test driving the vehicle I never met this guy in person. Each and ever time I went to Lia he wouldn't show his face. BESIDES dealing with VINCE every other person was a pleasure to work with. I met with Allie and she was amazing to work with in addition to the financial department. First he is a real gentleman, courteous, respectful and very personable. He is also quite knowledgeable about his product. When I arrived at the dealership that day it was for an oil change but I left having purchased my new vehicle. I felt no pressure from Bill, quite different from the reputation given to car sales people. I felt that Bill was trustworthy and honest. These are 2 qualities that I look for in people and Bill earned my trust. Thank you Bill! More
