I started out in the Automotive business when I was in high school as a apprentice in the shop at a Nissan / Datsun dealership in Southern California and continued through high school with auto shop. Upon graduation I had an opportunity to move to Minnesota and work as a logger, Well that was short lived and I was getting married in the near future. Found a job as a Parts manager with the local Datsun dealer and I was in Management as either a Parts or Service manager until January 2000, where I went through a life changing event and decided to step down from management and to start writing service, I found the job much more satisfying.

Since they changed ownership they have gone downhill tremendously. No one ever answers the phone in the service or parts dept and you have to keep calling and calling. Leaving a mssg is no use, no retur tremendously. No one ever answers the phone in the service or parts dept and you have to keep calling and calling. Leaving a mssg is no use, no return calls. You are losing business. Get it together. Of course the sales team will call you back. Parts dept I give 2 stars but service is a big 0 stars. The service manager who has been there for years has turned very rude. Find a new owner and management is my suggestion. You are losing alot of business and overcharging people. Many others I hear complaining and dissatisified as well, not just myself. More

I have a 2009 Mercedes C350, which I have diligently maintained since purchasing it in 2013 from Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills. At every service I received a loaner car and constant updates on the sta maintained since purchasing it in 2013 from Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills. At every service I received a loaner car and constant updates on the status of my car repairs. That all changed on March 26, 2023. My car was towed into Mercedes Benz of Rocklin at approximately 11:16am. It was a Sunday, and the service department was closed, so as instructed I left my car and put the keys in the night drop-box. The car had been detailed just 2-days before it was dropped off. I received a text from Wayne Schmid on March 27 @ 7:15am stating that they had received my car. The next day, March 28, I received another text stating that the shop had a heavy workload and he still had not looked at my car. On March 31, I received another text with the diagnosis, “negative battery cable was welded closed”, need to replace the cable, but the part was coming from Germany, so it would be a minimum of 7-10 days in the shop. I was also told that the “headlight control switch” was drawing power from the battery and needed replaced. I instructed Wayne to make the necessary repairs. Later that day I got another text, this time Wayne stated that the tech had moved my car and while doing so the “steering lock failed” and needed to be replaced for an additional $2,161.05. It was working when the car was dropped off. This seemed very odd to me as the car was maneuvered on and off the tow truck without any problems. Weeks passed, and I had to contact to Wayne to get updates on my car. After renting two cars myself and at my own expense I insisted that I get a loaner car from Wayne. He arranged for a loaner car and on May 16th I went to pick up it up. When I walked up to the car, I noticed that the windshield was literally broken in half. I requested a different car and was given one with 3-large chips in the windshield. While arrangements were being made for the loaner car, I sat with Wayne to discuss locating the headlight control switch. (Note: I had ordered the part online on April 6th, but it was on back order). He said, he could not find the part and that he was doing everything possible to locate it, the only one he could find was in Dubai. Again, he instructed me to look for the part and he would install it. I had found 2 other headlight control switches in California, but they were promised to other customers. I had spoken to Juan at Mercedes Benz of San Luis Obispo a few weeks earlier; he originally had one of the promised parts to ask him where and how he got the part. He went into great detail about how to issue an expedited part order through Mercedes Benz. I put Juan on speaker so that he could explain to Wayne how to start the process. Juan was super helpful, and a week later on May 19th, Wayne found the part located just 20 minutes away in Rancho Cordova. At this point my car had been in the shop for 53 days. I explained to Wayne that I was leaving on a 3-week trip on May 24th., he said the car would be ready for pick up by 5:30pm on the evening of May 23rd. I arrived at the dealership at approximately 5:10pm. The bill was still being tabulated when I arrived and I paid $5,200.00 for the repair, but when my car was delivered it was filthy, as if it were sitting in a field the entire time it was in Wayne’s possession. I got into the car, and the interior was a mess too, completely full of dust and something had been spilled down the passenger side door. I started the car and immediately the warning lights came on indicating that the coolant level was low. The service tech who was there told me not to drive the car. I was livid! I asked for my loaner car back but was told by the woman at service desk that they were out of loaner cars. I eventually got back the loaner car that I had returned 15-minutes earlier. Run away as fast as you can. This is the WORST Mercedes Dealership ever! More

You kept my car for almost 5 days, for maintenance and brake service. While , I understand that part might be difficult to get currently I believe that was an excessive amount of time to be without my veh brake service. They can improve their customer service significantly. Our experience was far from stellar and I believe a misrepresentation of the Mercedes brand. Our experience was far from stellar and I believe a misrepresentation of the Mercedes brand. More
