LEMON PRIUS My brand new PRIUS C 2012 began behaving oddly: first making an explosive impact when the vehicle transitioned from battery to gas motor, then the BRA My brand new PRIUS C 2012 began behaving oddly: first making an explosive impact when the vehicle transitioned from battery to gas motor, then the BRAKE PEDAL traveled to the floor each time the brakes were applied. ROUTE 44 TOYOTA told me that I needed to 'get used to electronic brakes even though this was new behavior by the vehicle. .' The technician was so unfamiliar with the vehicle model, he told me that the warning light on the dashboard was SKID CONTROL. During this nightmare, rather than simply fixing the vehicle, I was stalked, followed, my medical information was shared and much else. An employee posted an unprofessional and slanderous comment on my facebook page. When an astute AAA driver recently went to jump the battery, he realized that the BATTERY GROUND TERMINAL CONNECTION was loose. Brian at Topham's in Middleboro changed the oil, replaced the battery and the BRAKES now function as they should. The BRAKE PEDAL is high, the HILL HOLD feature works as it should. In other words, the vehicle was delivered from the factory with a loose battery ground connection that explains the quirky behavior in endured and NO ONE AT TOYOTA stepped forward to correct such a minor fix. . This was all in addition to requesting my credit report without authorization. More

Extremely disappointing experience I am completely disappointed with the lack of service with this dealership. I have been a loyal Toyota customer and have bought 3 vehicles from this I am completely disappointed with the lack of service with this dealership. I have been a loyal Toyota customer and have bought 3 vehicles from this location. I was called by a Sales Rep about trading my 20014 RAV4 in for a 2016 RAV4 ( I lease). I wanted to continue with the same monthly payments which the dealership had advertised from the get go. I went to the dealership and spoke with Shawn and he basically informed me that they use this tactic to get customers in the door--needless to say I was extremely disappointed as the best thing they could do would be to increase my payments by $100 a month. I then received a call 2 weeks later from Shawn informing me that they could do the deal and I would just come in so the Used Car Mgr can have a look at my vehicle and we can sign that day. (FYI...Used Car Mgr has already seen my vehicle from the prior visit). I miss a day's worth of work and drove up to Rte. 44 thinking the deal was done....I then get told by Shawn that unfortunately they cannot do the deal because they did not have any promotions from Toyota going on and they would not qualify (dealership) for the kickback????? I get a phone call 2 months later from Kris asking me if I was still interested in doing a deal from the original request. I expressed my frustration with Kris and told him how disappointed I was with the lack of service from his company and I would go elsewhere. Kris assured me he would rectify the problem and would inform management of my frustration. I told Kris I was open to still doing business with Rte 44 and I did not want anything else besides the original deal. He promised a phone call to at least tell me the resolution of the problem and never received one and once again have been disappointed with this dealership. I will tell everyone who reads this that I am not one to express my frustration on Yelp or social media. I understand that all companies are entitled to mistakes and should be given the chance to rectify any issues. Unfortunately I will never do business with the dealership ever again--after purchasing 3 vehicles in the last 10 years I would think they would take care of there loyal customers. More

This guy is unbelieveable!!!! I bought a brand new 2013 tundra from sean last year with such success that once again this year i walk into toyota looking for him and only him. Took me on a test drive in a 2014 car and he sold me on it from the second i pulled away. This guy knows his stuff and only sells u the car if you truly want it not to just make a sale. If your looking for a new or used car go to route 44 toyota and ask for sean!! He will make your day. He cares about his customers. More

WOW! Great used car buying experience! I had been looking for a used Rav4 for about a month. I have high standards, I am diligent, want a good deal and expect a professionalism. I did my research and automatically decided against any dealership without at least 4 out of 5 stars in reviews. That pretty much left me with Route 44 Toyota as most dealership have abysmal ratings-Route44 Toyota had 4 1/2 stars. I knew exactly what I wanted, I had a strict budget and I didn't want to spend all day looking at or driving vehicles that did not meet my criteria. My husband and I walked in and were instantly greeted by a gentleman who goes by the name "AB." He asked what we wanted and directed us to "Sean." The first thing Sean said to me was "What do you want to accomplish here today?" GREAT first question! I outlined what I was looking for and he asked a series of questions that helped me narrow down my choice. I immediately felt more focused about what I wanted. He brought me 3 cars to check out and test drive. One of them was a Rav4 with all the bells and whistles-leather, heated seats, Nav system, bluetooth-even a V6 engine. It was 2 years old, had super low miles and was out of my price range-but not so much that I felt it was an automatic no. Among the things that Sean did that were helpful: He outlined a test drive route that included both in-city and highway driving. He helped me narrow down what I wanted. He respected my budget and did not try to sell me more than what I came in for. He was knowledgable about items that I questioned (all wheel drive tires, V4 vs V6) He continually "checked in" and asked if I understood what he was talking about and was patient in explaining things that I didn't know about. He seemed genuinely concerned that I get a good vehicle at a good price was invested in me as a potential repeat customer. When I wanted to take a break to think things over he didn't try to talk me out of it, instead he suggested we go to lunch, take our time and think about our options. My favorite question of all: "What can I do to make you buy this car?" I threw out a number that was very reasonable (for me,) and that I was comfortable with. He checked with his manager and came back with an offer that was only $500 over my offer. I was surprised and happy! In the end I got an amazing car-way more than I thought I could get on my budget. I "kelly blue-booked" it when I got home and found out that I got a smashingly great deal. Route 44 Toyota did all the title/plates/DMV stuff that is a pain in the neck to do. When I showed up the next day to pick up my car, Sean took the time to go over every single thing in the car, he even set up the bluetooth for both me and my husband! In addition I get FREE OIL CHANGES for TWO years and incentives if I make a referral (you bet I will.) I recommend Route44 Toyota, Sean and AB in particular, wholeheartedly and without reservation. More

We were looking for an estimated 6 weeks with no immediate hurry to replace our existing vehicle. We had identified through the web, that this dealership had an excellent 2010 Sienna vehicle of inte immediate hurry to replace our existing vehicle. We had identified through the web, that this dealership had an excellent 2010 Sienna vehicle of interest, but which had neither the mileage nor the pricing we were searching for. The trip down to visit them was to explore, but not with the intention of buying. We had also already decided on a Sienna or Odyssey minivan based upon reliability, and had quickly determined that the dealership was a TOP NOTCH place to be doing business. However, what really made the difference for us was the experience from our initial introduction. An experience where this dealership focused on the customer in delivering the professional sales, desired vehicle, and pricing needed to close the deal. It was not an easy negotiation given that we had done plenty of research in addition to having the time to wait to locate the vehicle we wanted at the pricing we needed. Route 44 Toyota focused on the customer and proceeded to do whatever they could to close the deal. They did this by making the experience a pleasant one in finding a way to satisfy us in terms of the mileage/pricing circumstances. Based upon this experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. You will not be disappointed. More
