OPTIONS INCLUDE: UPGRADED PERFORMANCE 2.4L FLAT-4 DUAL CARBURETORS SOFT TOP BOOT REAR LUGGAGE RACK FOUR-WHEEL DISC BRAKES NARDI STEERING WHEEL W/QUICK RELEASE PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM PERFORMANCE EXHAUST CONVERTIBLE TOP WITH SIDE CURTAINS Designed at the behest of US Porsche Importer, Max Hoffman, the 356 Speedster was released as a lower-cost, more track-oriented variant of the 356. With a choice of several engines with outputs ranging from 60hp to 100hp, a shorter windscreen, removable windows, and other distinctive elements, Speedsters have become one of the most iconic shapes in Porsches history. As such, values for original Speedsters are some of the highest of any Porsche of the period. Unsurprisingly, their legendary status and relatively simple shape have brought about a significant number of replicas throughout the years. Some of the absolute best are made by Beck, who utilize a special tube frame, modern suspension/brake components, and performance-tuned VW Flat-4 motors to accurately recreate the handling so beloved of the originals, but offer better performance. These cars, especially those with larger displacement motors, are endlessly enjoyable to drive, providing a unique feel that much larger vehicles cant reproduce. The spectacular re-creation of a 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster was built by world-renowned coachbuilder Beck and finished in stunning Amulet Red with a Tan leather interior and matching convertible top. This incredible motorcar was ordered with an extensive array of options including an upgraded 2.4L engine with dual carburetors, a performance exhaust, and four-wheel disc brakes. We are proud to offer this remarkable motorcar to any collector, investor, or enthusiast who wishes to enjoy the look and feel of a Porsche Speedster at a fraction of the cost of an original.
