1966 Porsche 911 Coupe ⢠VIN 303051 ⢠Engine No. 903184 - Matching ⢠Transmission No. 225438 â Matching ⢠Original Solex 40 PII carburetors and air cleaners ⢠Completed on December 9, 1965 Preservation class 911 with mostly original paint, California black plates, with only four (4) owners. Finished in its original color combination of Irish Green (6606) over Black upholstery. Factory options include a Webasto 002 991 gas heater and an outside left mirror. Originally imported by PoAC, Teaneck and delivered to the first owner, Mr. Whitaker, by Pioneer Auto Inc in Watertown, Connecticut on January 11, 1966. The 911 was then purchased by Fred and Melinda Runnion, the second owner, in July of 1969 from Lukes and Shoreman, a former Porsche repair shop in Albany, California, and was owned for 50 years. On July 14, 2020, at 85,933 miles, Mobile Works West in Grass Valley, California, was commissioned by the 3rd owner to rebuild the engine and transmission with over $30,000 spent. A rebuild consisted of disassembling the engine completely, valve job on the cylinder heads, re-ringing the pistons, prepping the cylinders, mag and polished the crankshaft, re-bush and resize the rods, clean, prep, and paint all necessary parts, resealing the engine completely, reinstall, start-up and set specs, top fluid levels, and road test. Other work included installing later-model timing chain tensioners, rebuilding the distributor, and changing the oil, along with replacing the clutch, oil lines, oil-pressure sender, fuel-pickup tube, fuel tank, and battery. The transmission was also rebuilt, replacing the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd synchros with new gaskets and seals. A new Dansk fuel tank, fuel lines, and seals were installed in S
