1993 Range Rover Classic SWB Heritage Driver / Melton Family CollectionGreat-running 1993 Range Rover Classic short wheelbase from the Melton family personal collection. This is a very enjoyable classic Rover with a strong-running engine, smooth-shifting transmission, working 4-wheel drive, great interior, and a good solid body.This Range Rover has received a number of recent updates and services, including new tires, halogen headlamps, brakes and rotors, struts, hoses, belts, plugs and wires, starter, exhaust work, and other maintenance items. The interior wood has been restored and presents very well.Cosmetically, the paint is presentable but not perfect. The topsides are weak, and the hood has clear coat coming off. This is a great driver-quality classic, not a restored show vehicle.Known items: cruise control, power sunroof, and heater fan are currently inoperative. Like many classic Rovers, it does have active oil/fluid leaks, including from areas such as the oil pan gasket, power steering lines, and front differential. Nothing has kept it from being a fantastic vehicle to drive and enjoy, but buyers should understand this is a 30+ year old Range Rover Classic with typical Rover quirks. The front passenger catalytic pipe also has an occasional internal rattle; downstream exhaust has been replaced.This is not a perfect vehicle, but it is a great-looking, great-driving Range Rover Classic with the right character, tasteful updates, and lots of charm.
