LRA Auto Museum and Sales presents this 1 owner 1999 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible that was first delivered to Les Stanford Chevrolet where it was acquired by the first owner. Powered by the 5.7 Liter V-8 LS1 paired with a six speed manual transmission. This corvette is finished in magnetic red metallic with tan leather interior with a tan convertible top. Additional options include magnesium wheels, power seats,premium audio, variable effort steering, Standard traction control. Audible front brake wear sensors. Instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a driver information center, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer displays 33,000 miles. The 5.7 liter v8 comes from the factory with 345hp and 350 foot pounds of torque. The LS1 has specifications include an aluminum block designed for stiffness, strength and low mass, a special camshaft design for excellent engine breathing and a 10.1:1 compression ratio which helps enhance engine power. The compact size of the LS1 V8 engine helped Corvette designers achieve a low hood line for both excellent visibility and a reduced turning circle, while the aluminum construction reduces weight. The LS1's aluminum cylinder heads and composite intake manifold were designed as a single system to optimize airflow and combustion efficiency. For ultra-smooth performance, all the LS1's intake manifold runners are identical, resulting in consistent airflow to each cylinder.
