When the Avalon was re-introduces for the 2013 model year, Toyota positioned this sedan as an American sedan, being both designed with US drivers in mind and fully built in the United States. The 3.5L V6 engine was mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. This front-wheel drive car offers up to 268 HP with an EPA fuel estimate of 31 MPG on the highway. The exterior appears to be in excellent condition, better than most other 2013 model year vehicles. All four tires have ample tread with even wear. The interior is well-designed and ergonomically constructed for maximum driver comfort. This is the XLE premium trim, the second of four separate trims and built upon the vast standard equipment by specifically adding upgraded keyless entry & ignition, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, plus a rearview camera, which was uncommon for 2013 vehicles.
