While the Prius has been long known as one of the best hybrid vehicles in the world, like all good vehicles it now has different options ranging from the traditional hybrid to full electric. This is one which is a good mix in the middle. The Prius Prime has a plug-in charging system which allows this Prius to run solely on the hybrid battery for a range of just over 40 miles. All of the separate trims for the Prius Prime are powered by the same 2.0L 4-cyl. gas engine paired to an electric motor with both full-electric and normal hybrid modes. This powertrain offers 220 HP and when utilizing conventional hybrid mode, was rated for a combined 48 MPG. When using both electric & gas, it raises that number to an average 114 MPG. The exterior color is called Cutting Edge from the factory. This silver hue is free of any damage and is all factory paint and panels. The tires are also the ones that were originally installed and show very little in the way of wear. The design of the Prius was updated in 2023 with completely new looks yet still offers the hatchback design which allows for great options for cargo, even larger items. There is seating for up to 5 passengers and all of the seats are clean, free of any damage and very comfortable for everyone. The XSE trim was the mid-level of three offering in 2024.
