Big shout out to William R. , Kendall W. and Niko!!! Highly recommend working with these spectacular people when purchasing your next vehicle. They were super patient, reasonable , Kendall W. and Niko!!! Highly recommend working with these spectacular people when purchasing your next vehicle. They were super patient, reasonable, and beat all other dealers on pricing! Most importantly, they treated me as a customer. I went to Ewing GMC and spoke to two salesmen, and two sales managers, and 3 had a very bad attitude, lack of customer care, and told me verbatim they did not want my business because I would not finance with them. Mckinney sold me with their care, respect, and transparency. They also knew how to operate the Hummer and gave a fantastic introduction on how to drive it since it was our first EV. Highly recommend this dealership, ask for William R, or Kendall, they’ll take care of you. More
Purchased a 2025 2500 sierra Denali ultimate from this dealer end of may 2025. The day I purchased it I was made aware to bring it back that next day to align it and take care of a couple of things. I d dealer end of may 2025. The day I purchased it I was made aware to bring it back that next day to align it and take care of a couple of things. I drove it one day to find out that the vehicle had radio issues , major alignments issues and a loud steering column noise that is very clear when steering left or right from the steering wheel column . I went back to have the service dept take care of this issues as i excepted them to be able to. After multiple attempts to the service dept. I was told there are no known issues and the couldn’t replicate those issues reported . I was even told by one of their service floor managers “to take my truck back where I bought it from” knowing that I had purchased it from The same dealership. That showed me the low level of service this dealership has overall. It’s a typical sell And run and avoid the customer when they need service , they never call back for status update on repairs “if any. My truck has been at the service dept for at least 4 months now, I HAVE TO CALL THEM to get status updates and when I do, they tell me to go test drive it as issues have been repaired ! I go to test drive and the issues are worse now , same noise , Bluetooth does not even connect to my phone or anyone’s phone to that matter, alignment will even pull to the next lane now. Service director was in shock when he was roam the vehicle was ready and I test drove it with him and he was the one to tell me nicely to keep the truck with him again to make sure now GM is aware of it and that a repurchase claim to be issued at this point as they can’t repair it ! The GM will never call to address this issue , the dealer owner will never reply to any call or email sent regarding this issue ! they’re the typical USED CAR SALES mentality and very low class all Around, this dealership will have their name get smudged in the mud with reviews rather than servicing their clients . I met several clients at the service dept waiting area that are super frustrated with issues that have been lingering and never been taken care off . BEWARE. More
Bait Car dealership. Advertise a car that is not actually there or they say "It was just sold" and try and get you to look at another car. I own a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax used for real towing and heavy work. During a routine oil change at McKinney Buick GMC, I received an inspection report through the Xtime system that said “1 item failed: and heavy work. During a routine oil change at McKinney Buick GMC, I received an inspection report through the Xtime system that said “1 item failed: Needs immediate attention.” The failed item was a $220 Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system cleaning. EFI cleaning is not a GM-required maintenance item. It is not part of the Duramax service schedule, it cannot "fail," and it cannot be diagnosed during a basic service visit. The “failure” they reported was not real. I called the Service Manager, Robert Barth, and recorded the phone call (legal in Texas). He gave explanations that were technically impossible, including telling me you can “physically see carbon deposits coming out of the tailpipes” to justify the service. None of this is supported by any GM documentation. Certified GM technicians employed elsewhere have confirmed that it is not possible to “physically see carbon deposits coming out of the tailpipes” when performing an EFI cleaning. I was later contacted by the Fixed Operations Director, John Smidt. During our recorded phone call, Smidt confirmed that EFI cleaning is not required by GM, that it should not have been marked as a "failed" item, that it should not have been labeled “needs immediate attention,” and that it should not have been recommended at 15,000 miles. He also said the way it was presented to me was incorrect. This was not the first time I was offered a non-GM service at this dealership. During a previous visit, they tried to sell me an oil "conditioner" that GM does not require or recommend. I cannot trust this dealership with major repairs on a $90,000 dollar truck after seeing a pattern of behavior which most reasonable people would perceive as deceptive and dishonest. I have moved all future service to another dealership and submitted a formal complaint to GM Corporate. If you have work done here, review your inspection report carefully and compare any “failed” items to the actual GM maintenance schedule. Based on the behaviors exhibited by the Service Dept. at McKinney Buick GMC, it is likely that less informed customers may have paid for services that were not actually needed. This appears to be more than a "misunderstanding," and it deserves attention. More
The service department here is outstanding. Robert Barth has always taken great care of me. He is the reason I keep coming back.
