It's almost humorous to receive such a lame and ridiculous response. When I traded the car I told them that I thought I could get $ 10 to $ 12,000 for the car if I sold it myself. They acted like I was out of my mind. They stripped all the profit out of the Crosstrek we bought, but only allowed us $ 6700.00 for the Mazda. I was seeking to trade for $ 30,000 difference, $ 750.00 less than the $ 30,750 we paid. I was told we couldn't have it both ways. When they initially listed the car for sale it was priced at $ 14,602 and they've now "reduced it" to only $ 13,388. Regardless of what they sell it for, I'm pretty convinced allowing me another $ 750.00 was highly possible. I realize they spent some money on the car, but C'mon they still have it listed at a premium price. I think what irritates me the most was receiving no call back after leaving 2 detailed voicemails with Mike Walker, the Subaru Sales Manager, as they advised me to do in response to my Google review of the Dealership. That's a terrible way to do business and completely uncalled for and disrespectful. I worked in the car business for 22 years. I fully understand all the ins and outs and a Dealer's sources of potential profit on any deal where there's a trade involved. I don't appreciate being treated like I'm stupid and don't get it because I do get it. Fortunately, we do like our new car.
