Brought my car in for an oil change and to have the brakes looked at on a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30. When checking in they also informed me of a recall, which I appreciated. My service advisor was great, she was not the problem. I left and about 2 hours later she called and said my front brakes needed replaced but we had to wait for my fleet company to approve. I said okay no big deal, I expected to have to wait on that because they are always slow. All day Thursday I hear nothing until the afternoon that fleet has still not approved. She offers for me to come pick up my car and bring it back once they have. I agree but I had a previous engagement that evening so it had to wait until Friday morning. I go Friday morning to pick it up and my advisor is off, but a male advisor told me that the fleet company had approved it that morning and that they could get to work on. I said okay that fine, fully expecting it to be done in a few hours. Never heard anything. Called later that afternoon and was sent to the advisors voicemail and it was full. Got a text that said “I’ll call you back”, which he never did. I let it go until Saturday afternoon. Called my advisor and left a voicemail. Nothing (turns out she was off again). Called the service department and they transferred me to another advisor, another voicemail so I left a message asking for a call back. Nothing. Call again Saturday evening. Nothing again. Sunday afternoon rolls around and finally my advisor calls me back and asks if I has picked up my car… no? I told her what happened and she checks on it. It has been sitting there all weekend with nothing being done on it. She is apologetic and asks one of the mechanics if he can work on it first on Monday. He agrees. She says all paperwork will be done and she won’t be back until 3 on Monday. I wait all Monday morning with no word. Try to call service department again and sent to yet another voicemail. I wait until 2pm and then make the 45 minute drive to go pick it up whether it’s done or not. It is, nobody felt the need to call though. So at this point I’ve missed 3 days of work and am beyond frustrated. Will never bring my car here again. Brakes and an oil change should not take 5 days to complete? And communication? The worst. I will say my advisor did her best when she was working, and also text to make sure I had picked up my car when she got in Monday. But that’s about the only nice thing I have to say. More
