Horrible Waste of Time and Complete Incompetency CONSUMER BEWARE: There seems to be a common trend in that communication is a weak link at Tom Bush Mazda. I called Thursday to make a Monday appointme CONSUMER BEWARE: There seems to be a common trend in that communication is a weak link at Tom Bush Mazda. I called Thursday to make a Monday appointment with Benji for an oil change and a diagnostic of a sound coming from the suspension. I was asked if I could be there at 8:15am with my vehicle to which I said no problem. In bringing the car by I explained what the issues were and that I need the car by 2:00pm. Benji stated that the diagnostic fee would be $110 and when I asked what the criteria was to be charged she said she was not sure. It took her colleague stepping in to be able to get an answer which was if there was a problem, and I needed work done, as long as it was with Tom Bush Mazda, then I would not be charged the fee. I was ok with this but was perplexed on why Benji was unable to explain this and concerned on how $110 charge could not be told to me ahead of time. After leaving the car I called around 1:45pm and was directed to Benji's voice mail where I left a message. After not hearing anything, around 2:00 I tried again to see if I could get an update. From 2:00 to 2:25 I was put on hold and disconnected over 5 times. When I stated I wanted to speak to a manager the same hold happened. I have NEVER waited 45 minutes to speak to a maintenance department. I did finally got in touch with Benji around 2:30 and she informed me that they were not able to get my car in the shop at all. I asked her if she was kidding and she said unfortunately no. I asked to speak to her manager and to get some explanation on why I made an appointment and how a drop off differed from what I had if I clearly was not a priority. He stated that he did not have a good answer or an excuse. I cannot fathom the level of incompetency of this maintenance department. As a consumer I did due diligence and received nothing. This trend of communication problems does not seem to be going away. I called back to speak to a higher level manager and have yet to hear back after explaining my issue. I am fine with this but in addition to losing out on the maintenance of my vehicle, we will be purchasing our next Mazda from a different dealer. I hope this, with the other negative reviews warns others to not waster their time with them, and perhaps Tom Bush Mazda can figure out what their issues are and rectify them. More

I have been a loyal customer of Tom Bush since 2002 and have bought three cars personally and family members have bought numerous cars both from Tom Bush BMW and Tom Bush Volkswagen over the past fifteen years. On my most recent purchase, a 2013 Volkswagen CC I worked with Gino Manley, Internet Sales Manager and he created a sales process that was smooth and pleasant. Gino took care of my trade-in easily and the terms we agreed upon for my certified pre-owned purchase was fair and amicable. It was a pleasure working with him and I recommend Gino to family, friends and colleagues. Beyond sales, a major reason I remain loyal to Tom Bush is because of their service. Howard Smithson, the Service Manager for Tom Bush Volkswagen makes any service appointment easy and effortless. He and his staff will communicate with you on any repair necessary and gives a detailed and itemized report of the work that needs to be done. Also, getting a courtesy vehicle for as long as my car needs to stay in the shop is never an issue either. Both Tom Bush Sales and Service are stellar, professional and convenient. I can always count on a hassle free experience from when I buy my cars, to when I drop my car off for service until it is ready for pick-up. More
