#1 Cochran Kia Robinson

I really cannot believe the reviews I read on here about this dealership. I bought a new Kia Soul and drove to Halleen Kia in Ohio to get it. Let me say that they were, by far, a model Kia dealer and should this dealership. I bought a new Kia Soul and drove to Halleen Kia in Ohio to get it. Let me say that they were, by far, a model Kia dealer and should be training the Kia dealers in Pittsburgh. Well, two weeks later, I stopped at #1 Cochran Kia thinking I would have a similar experience. It was awful. First of all, I bought the top of the line Optima SX Turbo. And where did I do this transaction? In the employee Xerox room! I had people bumping into me and asking to get by for an hour. It was absurd. And, it wasn't like they were busy and we couldn't go somewhere else. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism. And, this is after the kid who was my "dealer" did not say two words probably from the time I took the test drive through the sales process. OK, so I was finally glad to get the xxxx out of there. I did purchase the Auto Armor. So, you'd think, new car, new potential service customer, that they would do their part to be accommodating, right? Wrong! It took being transferred to 13 people before someone -- anyone in the Cochran web -- could answer and set up this simple service appointment from a "We Owe You" card they provided. Calling in again to be sure the keys were left with the receptionist was an ordeal. But, what really ticks me off is that, unless they drove all over town, can someone explain to me why you adjusted my seats, mirrors, rear view mirror, radio to stations I don't even listen to, and played with the dual controls on my AC? This place is a joke. I will NEVER return and will do my best to steer both friends and colleagues away from them. I'm all about second chances, but things just don't improve here... They only degrade. Perhaps it's time for Rob Cochran to change his ads on TV. Maybe he should go as an "undercover customer." That would be an eye opener for him! More

Our first visit to the dealership was a bit frustrating due to the fact that there were no vehicles on the lot to inspect.The greeter introduced us to salesperson Sam Chiodo. Sam told us some general information about the vehicle and promised to contact us when one was available. A couple of days later Sam called Cathie and invited us to stop by for a test drive. Due to my wife's (Cathie) illness, we had to make two separate visits. Sam worked with us as to our specifics in regards to the vehicle and we made a deal shortly after. Looking for a replacement for my worn out Grand Prix and stopped at #1 Cochran Robinson while I was in Pittsburgh. Ran across a beautiful Pre owned 2006 Buick Lucerne with 20K on it. Drove it and they appra stopped at #1 Cochran Robinson while I was in Pittsburgh. Ran across a beautiful Pre owned 2006 Buick Lucerne with 20K on it. Drove it and they appraised my Grand Prix giving me a very fair price for it. The process was second to none and Mr. Bissert gave me his undivided attention even though it was apparent he was quite busy. The vehicle was cleaned and checked out even coming with a GM warranty. Needless to say this was my second purchase from the Cochran organization as we purchased a Nissan Maxima just under 6 months ago. Great people, great place, and well worth the drive from Canfield Ohio for anyone looking fro a great place to purchase and service a vehicle. We made the deal and picked up our car with minimal effort. I couldn't imagine buying a car from anyone else after dealing with him. No pressure, no fast talk. He is just the best! We also sat with Jason Kascak to complete our paperwork. Another professional, customer service friendly person at your dealership. I visited 2 other dealers just before visiting Cochran Kia in Robinson (one was a Kia dealer that was supposed to provide a no haggle price). We were unimpressed by our reception at those dealerships...t Kia in Robinson (one was a Kia dealer that was supposed to provide a no haggle price). We were unimpressed by our reception at those dealerships...the salesmen were unimpressive and they didn't try to "sell" us and let us leave without even trying to make the sell or even see what they could do to maybe entice into a deal (as would be expected). Then we went to Cochran Kia where we were greeted by Sam (our salesman). He was very personable and in our senior age bracket. When he determined that we were interested a Sedona EX with some options, he brought it to us and then went over the vehicle describing its features and included options. When I told him I was an Internet registered client, he stated he would find the manager to take care of us; however, he was instructed to continue the workup using the USAA guaranteed price as a base. He also got our car looked over to determine a trade-in value. When I disagreed with the trade-in value offered, I negotiated with the Manager and offered to complete the purchase right then if he would meet my offer.....the deal was consummated. We were pleased throughout the whole process with all the people who assisted us in the purchasing process....all were personable, professional and proficient. I will certainly recommend Cochran Kia to my friends and associates as I get the impression that the other Cochran Dealerships operate at the same high level of salesmanship. Sidney Thomas More
