There wasn’t enough space to finish: Julian responded, “I asked for your husband number not ours, trying to help and figure it out for you.” and, “if yo don’t want my help then have a good day.” At this point I realize I’m dealing with a gaslighting, want to be alpha and get the last word because I’m a woman challenging him, type, and know I shouldn’t reply, but did. I stated he was rude, brought up the things he’s subtly said I was lying about again and about how he said I missed my appointment but I did not, there’s nothing I need help with, and you don’t speak to potential customers that way if you’re trying to help. He continued texting me, “yes appointment to come in.” So going back to saying I missed the appointment when I said from the very beginning I live across the country and can’t come in, and THEY are the ones who asked me when a good time to call would be. He’s still going at me for that even after I provided screenshots proving otherwise and doubling down that the car has sold (not according to their website, which he will not acknowledge). Then he said “I think we’re done” but continued sending me rude text messages after. I responded with additional screenshots of messages and a lot of words about his behavior and that I was going to share all of this. He still wouldn’t stop, continuing to text me being condescending, saying, “if you’re mad about a sold car I really don’t know what to tell you.” This has nothing to do with me being mad because a car “sold”. It’s the poor customer service, the lie, then accusing me of lying, and all of the continuing condescending messages. I replied stating that and asked if he was the business owner. Then I received a call from him, which I did not answer. I am not interested in being spoken on the phone to the way he has been texting. He had no reason to call me or continue texting me other than to be intimidating and to keep arguing. This started to feel very uncomfortable and harassing. He then send additional text messages saying “yes it is sold but I’m done playing your games miss” and “ you have all the time to text but never answer the phone so please stop texting me.” Hoping this would stop, I replied, “YOU keep contacting me. You have no reason to call me or continue arguing. You are attempting to be intimidating and feel the need to have the last word like some kind of big alpha male. I have not initiated contact with you or anyone there since the phone conversation on 11/2/23. What purpose do you have calling me after these messages? None. And I will not engage in anything that is not in writing at this point. Stop calling me and stop messing me. This is inappropriate and unhinged behavior from the supposed owner. I will be posting all of this online. Do not contact me again. Anything further from you or anyone at the dealership will be considered harassment.” I have worked in a lot of high level and low level management and customer service industries, and I currently manage a law firm. Never in my life have I ever experienced a “business owner” behave this way. This was unreal. Completely inappropriate behavior.
