I called Phil Goodrum on the phone and told him what I wanted, he told me he could make it happen, and he did just that. I drove over an hour and a half from the South Shore to go to the dealership, as soon as I arrived Sam Cruz and Phil were more then helpful and in no time my new Grand Cherokee Overland EcoDiesel was ordered. About 7 weeks later my new Grand Cherokee arrived, Sam Cruz delivered me the vehicle and did an outstanding job. Went in Thursday night, slept on it for a day and was back at the dealership 9am Saturday morning, on the road in my new Jeep by noon. The experience front start to finish was flawless. I didn't feel pressured, I explained what I wanted and they made sure that I got exactly that. When it came to price, they were by far and away the best. I had done my homework prior to buying and was expecting your typical car salesmen approach being very pushy and wanting you to sign papers first day so they can get the sale. How anyone other than an owner of 495 Chrysler could rate them a 5 star is beyond me. My experience was significantly different. First, they led me to believe that they were giving me a discount off of m them a 5 star is beyond me. My experience was significantly different. First, they led me to believe that they were giving me a discount off of my purchase price. In fact, it was a coupon that, according to the Chrysler guidelines, could only be redeemed by me and with the coupon I received in the mail weeks later (which I intended to use to buy a second new Chrysler. Then, they sold me an extended warranty that they said was a manufacturer warranty. It turned out to be one offered by a non-Chrysler entity and at a cost of $100's more. I later found out that the reason that sold me that one was that they got a kick back. And that other, more reputable dealers offer the manufacturer's warranty from Chrysler at a much lower cost. When confronted with these facts, the sales manager insisted that he previously informed me - which not true since I would not pay more for a warranty obviously. They also offered to allow me to use the $500 coupon but only if I bought our second Chrysler from them. I ended up purchasing our second Chrysler from a significantly more reputable dealer - however, when contacting the Chrysler Corporation, they stated that they could only offer one coupon per family - so i was out the $500, thanks to 495. More
