My wife and I stopped by to look at vehicles as we found out our family is getting bigger. The salesman we dealt with was a fairly decent guy who was honest and not trying to con us into anything we didn't out our family is getting bigger. The salesman we dealt with was a fairly decent guy who was honest and not trying to con us into anything we didn't need. When I saw the "Zak-tek" accessory charge for paint protection that clearly stated "optional" on the forms, I asked to have this removed from the price. The salesman complied and the sales manager ok'd it. However, when it came time sign the paperwork, the finance guy told me that every dealer has it and it cannot be taken off the financed amount. I asked exactly what "Zak-tek" was, I received two different answers from Brian S. the finance guy. First, he stated that it was a wax that was applied to every vehicle and therefore the charge could not be removed. He then proceeded to tell me that it was a paint protection plan where you could go in for two waxings a year for three years. He stated since the vehicle was waxed prior to it being put for sale, it (the charge) could not be removed. He stated to me that this is something all dealers do and was standard practice. I failed to mention that this vehicle was also a used vehicle. Obviously one would want to wash and wax a used vehicle, so when it goes for sale on the lot, it looks alot cleaner and one could get more money for it, right? Today, I spoke with my lawyer and he told me that deceiving one into purchasing a service plan with such practices or the addition of optional materials without consent or notification is illegal. Coercion is a whole different story. I was not convinced into buying the plan, I was told it could not be removed. I noticed in the finance office a small sign stating that all activity in the finance rooms was recorded. I went back today at the advice of my lawyer (also to drop off my trade in) and requested a copy of the video. Brian S. stated to me that I could not get a copy and that I had to go through corporate. He then told my wife that the only reason he didn't remove the charge was because the sales manager wasn't around to okay it. That was funny because the sales manager was the last person I spoke to before I left the lot besides my salesman. He asked me why I wanted a copy and I told him that my lawyer wanted to take a look at it to make sure everything was okay. I also told him because he clearly told me the charge COULD NOT be removed from the financial contract. He told me to wait while he spoke to manager. He came back about five minutes later and asked me for my debit card so he could refund the down payment. He then proceeded to tell me that no lender would buy the loan and we had to give the vehicle back which we did. Regardless if that was the case, he was in one heck of a hurry to not have this deal to go through. Why?.....because such practices are very illegal. I would not recommend these people to anyone. This is by far the worst I've been treated anywhere. Please be wise and do some research, buy elsewhere. More
Did not do the work I payed for. Tires where cupping. Did not do the work I payed for. Tires where cupping. There people could not say why. Was told to live with it by service writer. Paid for wheel b Did not do the work I payed for. Tires where cupping. There people could not say why. Was told to live with it by service writer. Paid for wheel bouncing, not done. SUV only has 13,600 miles. Took it else where and all tires found out of balance and one with no weights. Toe was also out on front end. Add things that did not need to be done at 1 year check up. Wrote a letter to them 2 weeks ago and no reply. Do not deal with these people, run do not walk away! Trading in SUV with under 14,000 miles to the Ford dealer across the street. Yes, it will cost me, but maybe I can get good honest service. More
Absolutely the worst car shopping experience that I've ever dealt with. After informing the first salesperson that I was only looking and researching my options, I was still hounded and pressured into ma ever dealt with. After informing the first salesperson that I was only looking and researching my options, I was still hounded and pressured into making a deal. After he failed, he sent the sales manager to haggle, and when he failed, he sent another sales manager. After 20 minutes of requesting a brochure and a business card, we finally gave up and left. The sales manager then followed us out all the way to our car and his exact final words to us were: "Don't come back here!" That alone says enough about how horrible this dealership is. I definitely would recommend staying away from them - there are too many dealerships in town to spend money on horrible and rude customer service. More
I do not recommend this dealership they are very dishonest . This dealership dropped the ball on so many levels. First my wife and I came just to look for something bigger than our 2 door Chevy Mon dishonest . This dealership dropped the ball on so many levels. First my wife and I came just to look for something bigger than our 2 door Chevy Monte Carlo to a bigger SUV or something similar to that. We told the dealer Arturo Borrego ,who had been in the "shark tank" (on the job) for a total of two weeks that we wanted a family size car or SUV that was great on gas . He took us to a few that were way out our price range and came upon a Chevy Trailblazer. It looks great , drove smooth and was in really excellent shape. Little did we know that it devours gas. Within 1 week we had put $100.00 in the tank. Looking closer on our contracted and crunching the numbers (we don't buy new cars very often) we noticed that services we declined were added to our contracted anyway. Services we were told were free were added and we were charged for as well. They basically are stealing from us . Don't get me started on their website listing of the same exact vehicle we bought. It was listed many thousands of dollars lower on the website but they sold it too us for much higher and when we brought that to their attention by printing out a few dozen copies for them and us and maybe a court battle The manager Thomas James said it was a type o or a human error. Where I come from that is false advertising. Mr. Thomas James was a equally slick when he kept calling me about proof of income. My mother said that he has no deal until he has proof of income and not to give it to him. My wife and I go back down there and He conned us into give the proof of income making my wife feel bullied to the point she started sobbing. Many times over they dropped the ball ,making us get insurance before leaving the lot, giving us the registration/ temporary tags, etc. This is a very Mickey Mouse operation and they only care about separating you from your money, bottom line. Buying our SUV went fine. Was treated with respect, sale went smooth and we where happy with the deal. The first time buying a car that I did not get mad! But, we came ready to buy. Down payment, good tra went smooth and we where happy with the deal. The first time buying a car that I did not get mad! But, we came ready to buy. Down payment, good trade in, tax returns showing proof of income and I knew which SUV we wanted as we rented one the week-end before. The guys in the parts dept., are nice and no problem there. The service dept., is another story. I have tried my best to stay away from them. Had to rent a car and never got refunded back and no one never told me I did not have to rent the car. My car I think had under 2,000 when brought in. They seem to act like they are doing you a favor, when in fact they owe you service when a new car has problems. I am buying after market on ons to cut down on wind noise as service feels my noise is fine. Gas milage sucks, but I will have someone else look at that because when I did ask about it, was given a story. Good place to buy, I just do not like their service dept. Most likely will trade this in after a year for another make of SUV. With our high down we should break even. More
Scott Madison, Internet Fleet Salesman is a LIAR. He told us that you can swap out the radio system in the Xterra S with a system sold in the Xterra SE but we called service and they cannot do that. He promi us that you can swap out the radio system in the Xterra S with a system sold in the Xterra SE but we called service and they cannot do that. He promised to swap the radio for us and has continuously made excuses, first the radio is back ordered (when in fact it was not). Do not trust this man. He will say anything even things that he knows that is not true. More
