I bought the car on November 29th. I haven't received my title. I got the car on empty, gas light was on. We informed Ricki we were going to be back early in the morning. They had to call Ricki and he came title. I got the car on empty, gas light was on. We informed Ricki we were going to be back early in the morning. They had to call Ricki and he came in half asleep, got the emissions done, I was informed he was also going to put gas in the car. He failed to do so. He also failed to detail the car. He was supposed to have everything ready for us that morning when we came in. He was also wearing the previous clothes he had on the day before, down to the socks. We had to wait there for four hours waiting for Ricki to come in and get emissions and we had already paid for the car. He was also an aggressive salesman. I already had my sights set on the 2018 Subaru Outback, he didn't have to be aggressive about it. We weren't told or given the information that the Eye Sight/Collision/Lane Assist doesn't work. Now we have to come out of pocket with more money to have all that fixed. More
EDIT 90 days Post Sale (purchase in Mid Sept '21)----To make things clear, your dealership team at ALM KIA South was completely incompetent. This entire issue could have easily been resolved with my salesm make things clear, your dealership team at ALM KIA South was completely incompetent. This entire issue could have easily been resolved with my salesman Kaneil--but Kaneil purposely chose to ignore my messages and phone calls when I requested help and assistance with clearing up my Out of State Title and registration. I requested the finance or manager's help on the 21st, 22nd, and 26th of October (more than 30 days after purchase) via texts/calls. But was given ZERO responses. Then I called the dealership looking for anyone who could help and was never followed up with or received a call back knowing that my GA plates were expired and out of state had not received any application for the title--now Taxes are LATE. It wasn't until the 26th of Oct that Ms. Luna offered some assistance from Corporate, but at that point with limited time traveling to get the title out of state, and I just needed my plates rather than wait longer for documents to arrive from ALM Kia and not have proper registration. It wasn't until the 26th that I confirmed all Tax & registration documents were in fact sent LATE & Incorrect! Bottom Line, this experience was absolutely terrible and I ended up doing all the work because a terrible salesman Kaneil and a terrible finance manager (and unresponsive dealership) sent my documents late and incorrectly. Honestly, I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I'm still confused as to why I paid a (clearly stated) "non-negotiable" $699 "documents fee" when the actual documents were completely wrong and late. If anything, I feel that a fair compromise to this ordeal would be a significant portion or ALL of this "documents" fee returned back to me when I did all the work in the end! More
Briefly, I scheduled an appointment to see a car which it turns out their manager was using. The sales associate would not let us test drive anything unless we were purchasing a brand new Kia on that day. I turns out their manager was using. The sales associate would not let us test drive anything unless we were purchasing a brand new Kia on that day. I found a vehicle that was similar to the used vehicle I was interested in. He was not interested in showing me this vehicle because he knew I would not buy today and it had high miles. I made time out of my day with my child to test drive such a car and wasn’t given the opportunity because I wasn’t buying at that second. I literally just wanted to see what the seats felt like and how it handled. I had been waiting months to schedule a time with my family to do this. I Spoke of our budget of $25,000 and he insisted that we would spend much much more and should expect to spend much more. I suggested we come back when we had time without our child, who is 1 and got cranky and he suggested that we’re the parents and should able to control her. She was doing nothing wrong just wanted to held. He’s was awful. Name is Rick. he’ll be the one trailing after you saying “well I really don’t want you to have had a bad experience,” while you walk off the lot. I scheduled an appointment to see a car that the sales manager was driving apparently. I did not get to drive any cars because I wasn’t ready to buy a brand new Kia. And then he suggested how we should parent. Horrible. It was a complete waste of a Sunday More
