Service keeps declining I have been with Kia since they were down the road in the old center . Service advisors are not friendly, welcoming or accurate with service offers. After my car was done and back in the bay I waited 20 min before proceeding to check out wondering why I was waiting. I went to check out and my paperwork wasn’t complete. I waited another 40 min just to learn my service advisor was on lunch and that why my paperwork wasn’t complete. I actually went back today and was greeting by another service advisor who took lengthy time just coming to my car to ask what I was there for. His demeanor was so unwelcoming that I left. I will be finding another service center visit. More

Ask yourself how many times you should need to speak to the general manager of a company to get the standard service any other dealership provides. If your answer is less than 10, shop elsewhere. On a related note, if customer service is important to you, ask yourself how many times do you expect your dealership to put you on hold any never come back to the phone. If your answer is fewer than a dozen times, this is probably not the place for you. Save yourself from the crooked ways of ALM Kia South and go literally anywhere else for a better after-the-sale experience. More

Negative Experience I emailed the GM twice with no response to the following email: Good Morning Mr. Curry, As the general manager of a dealership the size of ALM I emailed the GM twice with no response to the following email: Good Morning Mr. Curry, As the general manager of a dealership the size of ALM I am sure you are probably not aware of the experience I had in your dealership on Monday (Memorial Day) May 27, 2019. My husband and I purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer and had less than a stellar experience. In less than 24 hours of leaving the dealership, the check engine light came on. The next day when my husband brought the vehicle to the dealership he was met with indifference and redirected to Ford due to the manufacturer's warranty. After making an appointment with Ford, he returned home where the car would not start a couple hours later. He took a Lyft to get to work. After jump starting the vehicle when I arrived home, I ran over to Auto Zone who said that the battery was indeed dead and the casing was cracked as the battery was leaking acid. This bothered me as the sales rep told my husband that the battery was new. He had to jump the car before our test drive and said that was because the vehicle had been sitting for a while in the heat. When we took the vehicle to the service department at Ford the next morning we were informed that the check engine light was due to broken spark plugs. Luckily, we are a few thousand miles inside of still having the manufacturer's warranty and that was fixed. I am aware that we purchased a used vehicle, but my experience leads me to believe that this vehicle was not properly checked prior to sale. While my husband and I were inside with finance, we were told the vehicle would be detailed and brought around for us. The car was barely wiped down. There was still pollen inside the trunk. The tires were not even balanced. I had a positive experience with the finance professional and Jawon Shaw (who educated me on Ford technology and eventually balanced my tires after I brought it to his attention). I came to ALM Kia South because you were a recommended dealer through Capital One who provided my pre-qualification. I was initially excited that my husband and I found a vehicle suitable for our growing family. Unfortunately due to the details I have listed above, I am not excited about the financial investment I made at your dealership at this time. I took business cards on my way out the door as I know friends and family members in the market for a new vehicle, but I do not feel comfortable recommending them at this time. I know that I am one of many customers that have come through your doors, but I felt it was important to make someone aware of my experience and how your business is being perceived. More
