Dishonest Dealership: Worst car buying experience ever. Sam, the salesman was very nice until the deal was closed. It started with him writing up my daughter's sale deal for $500 over the list price. Thank Sam, the salesman was very nice until the deal was closed. It started with him writing up my daughter's sale deal for $500 over the list price. Thank God I was there to over see the deal. Next he delivered the car with a tire with a buldging sidewall that they clearly was aware of because the bulge was marked with a yellow marker, and was discovered because the low tire pressure light was on so she had to add air. This was a safety issue. Any reputable dealership would not let a car leave the lot in that condition. My daughter life was at risk driving the vehicle in this condition. The Finance department practices are also questionable. They offered to cut a check for the first payment. It took no less than 10 trips to the dealership over 45 days period before I got my check. I specifically told them that I was picking up the check after they told me that it was locked up in someone's' safe. I went back to pick up the check, and they told me it was mailed. I waited over a week but never received it. They said that maybe the mail was stolen. I've never had any mail stolen. They said that they couldn't cut me another check because the other check was mailed. Now any 1st Grader would know that all you'd have to do is put a stop payment on the check, and reissue another one. I had to suggest that to them. I had to wait over 3 hours while they played their silly games before they took my suggestion and gave me my check. It's been over 2 months and the check still is not here as yet.. To get the tire repaired took over a week. Every other dealship experience that I've had, the salesperson takes the lead on any issues pertaining to the dealership. Sam was none existent with my issues with the Finace sand Service department. He said that it was not ALM's model. For 45 days I had to fight my own battles with both departments. That was a 45 days car buying experience. You will find that no one takes leadership or ownership for anything. They point fingers and pass the ball., and they are full off empty promises. The Manger Shannon who promised that would take care of things , and would have my check ready, was useless. He simply turned to Janice the Fianace representative, who was the the cause of fiasco in the first place. Every negative perception that you can concieve, they've hit the mark. They are an embarrassment, and hope that we don't all get judged by the unprofessional, and dishonest business practices of ALM, Union City. More

Listen Good This is a great place to purchase a car if you have any credit issues however they have the gift of gab. My sales lady was phenomenal. So here's where the BS start they sold me a car that they had no key for. They only wanted to make me one key for a push button start car. I wasn't having it so I told them to take me to a car with 2 keys and the just made me another one. I live out if town so had a lot of BS with tags. Look carefully at the cars some they showed me had bad body work. I took my time and found my car which the front bumper had been partially painted but no serious collision damage. Let's be real majority of cars on lots have paint work. They made their demands and so did I all in all they probably still ramed me real good but that's the BS in car buying More

Wonderful Experience Nikki Balbuena was extremely patient and kind, and she even advocated on our behalf to make sure we reached a price point that worked for us. She was 100% transparent, pointing our cosmetic flaws on the car we were considering and telling us how ALM would work to fix those flaws before the vehicle was delivered. Everyone at the dealership exuded calm, kind energy, making this car buying experience head-and-shoulders better than any I have ever experienced. We will recommend Nikki and ALM South to all of our friends. More
