He was knowledgeable and had a very no pressure sales tactic that made us feel comfortable every step of the way. He made us feel like we are getting a great deal and at the end of the day he came through with his promise. We got a great deal on a new car and also a very easy trade-in at a good value. More

loved every second Ms. Tierra made sure that I was well taken care of. I am only 18 and I look every bit of it, and unlike most salespeople, she was quick to help me! Sh Ms. Tierra made sure that I was well taken care of. I am only 18 and I look every bit of it, and unlike most salespeople, she was quick to help me! AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! Don’t BUY ANYTHING from here! The car SERVICING experience I’ve had with ALM South has been horrible to say the least. I purchased a 2011 Cadillac SRX from ALM South toward the end of last month. Initially everything went fine with the sale and the sales person Kim was very, sweet, helpful and kind. My deal ended up being closed by an additional sales person, Davida (sp?) who was also personable in her sales. It wouldn’t be until I called the dealership two weeks later, after noticing that my car’s date display kept defaulting to the WRONG date, my car charger outlet STOPPED working consistently and the WORST THING: my car was making a loud NOISE, that everything would head SOUTH. Upon leaving messages and being told BY Mike that he would call me back to schedule a service appt, a week passed with NO return call. After I called again, and stated I’d still been waiting on “Mike” to call me back, I was helped by a new person. I spoke with Marshall who was very kind, and helpful in setting my appointment to get my car seen by the service department. Upon arrival at the dealership I was told they would do a “diagnostic” and let me know if they found anything. Again, Marshall acted as the go between to the service department. He, like Kim was very professional, accommodating and kind as he attempted to be helpful in getting my issue resolved. Both of them went above and beyond to try and help me during my hours at the dealership. Unfortunately, I still ran into a HORRIBLE experience with Mike and the service department. After waiting for my car to be “diagnosed,” “Mike Kaye” comes from the service department and states that my right front bearing needs to be replaced. I explained to him that I understand “as is” car buying laws, however I JUST bought the car. After which THIS is what I was told: 1. They would fix it for $375. After I asked them if they could comprise because again, I just bought the car, he stated he could come down by $75, making it $300. He also stated it would have regularly cost me the part of the car, plus 3 hours of labor ($600). He then stated I was getting a “discount” because they had not charged me to “diagnose” the car and I would only be paying half of $600. -Here’s the issue I have with this. First off, after researching on my own, according MULTIPLE dealerships in the city (ones who DO AND DON’T) special in Cadillac, the man hours needed to fix the car are only 1.5. hours. That fact was also confirmed as it took the ALM South service depart 1 hour and 7 minutes to fix my car. So where was the 50% discount I was claimed to be getting? In short, I was charged wholesale for the part and the labor. 2. Issue #2: When I asked for a invoice for services rendered, I was ONLY given a credit card receipt. The receipt has NO INFO on it aside from the date, the last four digits of my card number and the total amount of $300. There is no list of how much the part cost, how much the service cost OR even what the service was for. As for as that receipt is concerned it gives NO INDICATION as to what I even paid for. THEN to top it all off, I asked for the warranty paperwork for the part that was claimed to be replaced and they said again, they could not provide it. GM warranties all of their parts. This is a part that YOUR service department supposedly order, so why can’t they give me the packing slip paper at the very LEAST that came with the part??? Lastly, I asked for the diagnosis paperwork that even SHOWED that the bearing was the issue as well if there were any other issue. I was then told that they did even DO an actual machine diagnosis but rather, “looked under the hood” and inspected that way. So, let me get this right: I just paid for a $20k car, 2 week later it malfunctions. The service department refuses to fix it as a ETHICAL courtesy for selling a car with a KNOWN issue. After I’m LIED to and told I’m not being charged the full $600, I find out it never cost that amount, even according to the man hours needed as listed in the national mechanics manual. Then to add insult to injury, I’m not give ONE SINGLE PIECE of documentation as to what has been done, the breakdown of how I was charged or even the warranty info on my “new” part. In fairness, I will say, Marshal made several attempts to see about getting the paperwork from “Mike” but was not able to upon leaving and stated he would try over the next of days. Knowing that it’s not his fault that the service department can’t produce proper paper, let me I’m extremely disappointed in Mike’s ability to do his job. I’m offended that I was lied to without remorse. And hearing the excuse that the dealership is transitioning to a new location means nothing as far as I’m concerned. It’s amazing to me that the dealership still had everything in place to take my payment and provided a bootleg receipt but couldn’t provide a simple packing invoice that HAD to accompany the bearing that was supposedly bought. Not only will I not be referring anyone to this dealership, but I fully intend to use my Facebook, Instgram, Twitter and online magazine to write about the awful service experience I received. With a combined audience of over 20k people, I’m sure someone can benefit from my being swindled out of an additional $300 on a 20k purchase. At the very least the dealership should have at tried rectify this... signed, Still Waiting On A Resolution N. Washington More
My New Family!! My experience here was equivalent to the first day of class when you meet your best friend and decide who's your favorite teacher. At first glance of My experience here was equivalent to the first day of class when you meet your best friend and decide who's your favorite teacher. At first glance of my salesman I didnt think he was even old enough to drive a car let along sale me one, boy was I wrong! From the initial conversation he made it comfortable enough for me and my boyfriend to discuss what we wanted in spite of our credit challenges. He never made us feel bad not one time for wanting a car tht other dealerships deemed was to much car or said it was impossible, instead he went to work. Everybody was nice, constantly speaking even though we showed up at 7:30 and the dealership closed at 8; we ended up leaving at 10 and had to come back later. Ari finished the deal for us because Demarcus had left even though I believe he probably heard we were coming back and clocked out lol we gave him such a rough time that first night but he got us done. Ari, my car itself, Andy monthly payment was the icing on the cake and sealed the deal for alm forever gaining my business, and those of my family and friends!!! #LeianneFrett More

However, it was not disclosed to us exactly how the whole trade-in thing goes with them. Apparently, they have someone else lined up to buy your vehicle, not them. So, it will not get paid off on time for sure. Then, you will not get the paperwork to register the new vehicle until they pay off your old vehicle. We traded on May 23, 2015 and still do not have our paperwork to register the vehicle we bought from them!!! So, first the bank thought we were just late on our payment because ALM took 3 weeks to payoff the vehicle we traded. And now, we will have to pay fees for registering the new vehicle late because it has been almost 45 days and we still don't have the paperwork we need. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO SAVE MY LIFE!!!!! More
Amazing Experience By far this has been one of the best car buying experiences we have had! My husband and I were in the market for a late model Acura. We started our By far this has been one of the best car buying experiences we have had! My husband and I were in the market for a late model Acura. We started our search on Autotrader and Cargurus and contact a number of dealers and private sellers over the course of one month. We additionally visit 2 local dealerships but found pricing to be notably higher than the offers outside of our immediate area. Approximately one week after we began our search my husband had to leave the country on business. We continued looking for a vehicle online separately and discuss them via phone. I contact ALM South via USAA Car Buying Service online and within 10 minutes I received a phone call from Tierra. She informed me that she was presently with a customer but would help me find "my car" as soon as she was free. She and I had numerous conversation where she inquired about my new cars wish list, she sent me emails of cars that fit my wish list. She definitely went above and beyond BUT was not pushy at all. It was apparent that she wanted to sell me a car but more than that she wanted to sell me the right car. My husband return home on Tuesday evening. I called Tierra on Wednesday morning to let her know that we would like to view one car at her dealership. She welcomed this and informed us that she would go ahead and pull "our" car up front and it will be waiting on us. When we arrived at ALM South two hours later (100+ miles), there was a nice selection of luxury cars and just as my salesperson promised she had the car waiting for us up front. We test drove our car and loved it but we still were not sure if we wanted to stop looking and buy. So Tierra pulled up 2 additional car for us to view and drive if we liked. We still were not sure. We drove an additional car.. We still were not sure. We walked through the lot and back to "our" car discussing the cars, the prices, the deals, etc. But all roads led back to "our" car. We bought the 2012 Acura TL "our car" the first car we drove. And we were sure that this was the car that we had been searching for. The best part about this experience was Tierra's commitment to us, her customer. She could tell we liked the very first car, because we keep coming back to it and compare the other cars to it. But, she wanted us to be sure. So she was happy to go back and forth retrieving keys and returning keys even for something as small as the interior color difference. When we decided to buy the car. Tierra immediately requested it be detailed, so that it would be clean and ready to go when we where ready to go. Tierra also notice that the car's gas tank was nearly empty, so she offered to address this before we left the dealership. There was nothing that could have been done better; nothing that should have been done differently. THIS IS WHAT CAR BUYING SHOULD BE!!!! More
