Unfortunately, my husband and I lost two cars due to a tree falling and totaling them out. So we purchased two vehicles from Kia south and my husband noticed a ding in the windshield and they told him tha tree falling and totaling them out. So we purchased two vehicles from Kia south and my husband noticed a ding in the windshield and they told him that he could bring it back and they would fix it but then when he went back, they said it’s already been fixed But there’s still a ding and the windshield and we asked if we could get something in writing that says that they have fixed it and they said no. I think that’s pretty crappy to treat a customer that has purchased two vehicles within a weeks time at your facility and you can’t give them peace of mind knowing that What your word says that you did that we would have a paper trail. I’m very disappointed and I will not buy another car from Kia south! More

Purchased 2 cars on February 22, 2025, for retirement celebration for myself and wife 1 purchase was with trade, today is March 22, 2025 and the trade still has not been paid. Spoke with Account manager on Friday 3/21/2025 advised he will look into thus matter Monday 3/24/2025 due to the payoff clerk Not available until then. Veteran is NOT happy. Substantial financial HARDSHIP had to make another payment on the traded car today. Had to fill up 2 cars with late night processing till 11 pm so wife and i had to go to gas station at 11 pm before driving 45 miles home. Great cars, but the service could be better. Still waiting for payoff. More
On February 28, 2025, I purchased a used 2021 white Kia Soul from ALM Kia South, making a $500 down payment. I was assured the vehicle had been detailed and had undergone a 20-point inspection. However, upon receiving the car, it was evident that it had not been cleaned since its trade-in in December 2024. Additionally, the right headlight needed replacement, the driver-side internal light was out, and the ventilation system malfunctioned, blowing hot air while the A/C was on. On March 7, I returned the car for the promised inspection and detailing, but the service team was unaware of these requests due to a lack of communication from my sales representative, Kavonte Ivery. As a result, I waited over four hours for these services to be completed. On March 13, I was informed by the finance department that my loan with Prestige Financial was denied due to my new job's start date not being finalized. I immediately spoke with Latoyia from finance to confirm the return process and reimbursement of my down payment. She did not confirm how the refund would be issued. The following day, March 14, I received multiple calls from management stating that if I did not return the car by the end of the day, it would be marked as stolen, and the police would be sent to my home. I returned the car at 7:50 PM. At that time, I was assured by Latoyia and her manager that the vehicle had been inspected and that my $500 down payment would be refunded, with a receipt issued on March 17. However, as of today, March 21, I have not received my refund or the promised receipt. Despite multiple follow-ups via phone and text on March 19 and 20, Charles Dansby, Latoyia, and Izzy from the finance team have failed to respond or provide an update on my reimbursement. I am requesting immediate action to ensure the prompt return of my $500 down payment. Additionally, I urge ALM Kia South to implement better communication and ethical business practices to prevent this from happening to other customers. More

Good evenings, I’ve been brining my sisters car in and the repairs that you state and we paid for due to her engine light would not go off. You stated as park plugs we paid $600.00 for what. Took it back and 2 to 3 days later you informed us it needs a catalytic converter. Sales person had another technician review it and they said it was the fuel pump and induction service for approx $800.00. I picked up the vehicle because I can’t believe anything you all told me about the 2015 Kia Cadenza. Then when I picked it up, the rep could not find any documentation that I needed a catalytic converter other than stating that to my sister and I at 2 different times. The technicians needs to keep it as documentation instead of deleting things. This is falsification and that is wrong. Something needs to be done Regarding Kia period. The technicians look like you hired them from off the streets literally. Technicians everywhere else has a uniform on. This is truly embarrassing, I’m not sure how other technicians dress at other locations. We as African Americans has to do better with service across the board. This place is truly a joke, I heard you all supposedly have a new crew, well it seems no better. Lastly, please don’t have the technicians eating in cars.
