This is really two reviews in one. The salesman Donnell Newton was as pleasant as can be. Unfortunately he works for a corrupt organization. The management at this dealer are sleazy and rude. I visited Norris Acura on a Wednesday to look at an MDX. I was quoted a lease price from a manager in charge, through the sales person. I returned to the dealer that Saturday and test drove the car. I then negotiated the price down another $500 (with a different manager in charge that day agreeing to the deal) with the same terms. The salesman and I shook hands on the deal and he asked that I give him all 10s on his evaluation (which was no problem given how I was treated to that point). I filled out a credit application and gave a substantial down payment until the car could be located. They informed me a couple of days later when the car arrived. Then on Tuesday they told me that there was a mistake in the price. I told them we had a deal and a legal implied contract, money changed hands, and they needed to deliver the vehicle. I was then called by Greg Raynor who treated my quite rudely to tell me he was not selling the car to me for that price and then he promptly hung up on me. There's always a convenient mistake when they want more money from you, but when 2 different managers agree to the same "mistake", you know it's just evil greed. Car dealers are known to be sleazy, but it doesn't get much worse than this. And just to convince myself how nasty these guys are, I was easily able to negotiate a similar deal with another Acura dealer. They breached a contract you would do well to steer clear of this place! Have been to Norris to buy parts and for timing belt service. Both experiences were great. Every employee I spoke with was friendly and helpful and the prices were quite reasonable. Every single time I go to Norris Acura, I receive excellent treatment. The service is great from all the employees. I never have to wait that long.
