Bait & Switch: If you are told by a salesperson that you can put a down payment on a vehicle on a Saturday so that you can have your mechanic peek at the car Monday don't get your hopes up. Then the finance manager will come in to try to push you into buying the car because they will not hold it for you. Two thumbs down for being a professional place to do business with. Ron is getting a 1 star because ultimately he is in charge of this ridiculous maneuver. More

My car broke down going from AR to MN in Des Moines. I was stranded and not sure what to do,as it was already 6:00 at night. I called Acura of Johnston and talked to a sales person, Andi Zenkovic, who co was stranded and not sure what to do,as it was already 6:00 at night. I called Acura of Johnston and talked to a sales person, Andi Zenkovic, who could not have been nicer and sympathetic to my situation. He gave me suggestions about how to get the car to the service dept and letting me know that there was a hotel that basically shared their parking lot. He stayed until 8:00 that night making sure that i got there safely and to make sure that i woke up and got to the service dept first thing in the morning. I then was there in the morning and had the pleasure of talking to Scott Mears in the service dept. He also sympathized with my situation and did everything he could to get my car looked at asap so that i could figure out my next move of getting back to mn. I have mostly owned Acuras and always had my cars serviced at Acura simply because of the quality of service like this situation. I do not live in Des Moines, but i would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone who is in the market for a new or used car and for service on their car. Thank you Andi and Scott. More

I came in and knew what I wanted to look at and Jack took me right to it. He was great, the only thing that bothered me, and it really bothered me, is the dealerships insistence on trying to sell me extras. me right to it. I told him I didn’t want the $1200 package that protects the interior and was at first told I had to take it. After I got up to leave they took it off. When I said I wanted the car he took it to the finance people and they added it back on. He tried crossing it out I refused to sign any paperwork with it on there so he went back and got a new form. Then when I went to sign with the finance department they said they got me a lower rate by adding in a bunch of extras I didn’t want, making the payment the same as before. I said no and I still got the lower rate. That’s some bait and switch stuff going on there. I still bought the car but I probably won’t go back again. More
