I just picked up my new TSX from Acura of Peabody. Can't say enough good things about my experience dealing with Vanessa. She was very professional from the first phone call. Of course once I got the car home, I couldn't remember some of the controls, I phoned Rich and he was more than pleasant to walk me through it. Last year and half ago I went to purchase a Acura TL from this dealer. I did all of my research on the vehicles price. I saw they had a 2008 TL zero mialege. Whe I got there the usual dealer talk lets get you in this vehicle. Vehicle was great and they did not want to work with my trade off. Not to mention they could not find the vehicle advertised, turns out the model i test drove was the vehicle. Now they were hesitant to sell me the vehicle because it was a fully equipted vehicle. So they threw me out by not working with my trade off. After two weeks of going back and forth they were willing to give me the price i wanted for my trade off. Whe i got to the dealer they did not have the car i wanted they said it was sold. So then we agreed to make a deal on another tl in the show room. Now the time before i came they came up with a interest rate of 3.9 % . This time after arguing with the manager back and forth and he was very rude (asian gentleman) and after signing the vehicle with my down payment of 5k .They tell me my interest rate 4.9% . I took my down payment back and walked . They are very unproffesional and rude avoid going there at all means. Choose another dealer, I would not even get a vehicle from them if it was free. They need to learn from Herb Chambers they know how to treat the customers. Same night i went and bought a Accord fully laoded in 3 hours i had a deal completed. More
When I went to the New Acura of Peabody building, I had no intention of buying a new car. My experience was so amazing, that I was comfortable purchasing my new car! I was greeted with a professional ass no intention of buying a new car. My experience was so amazing, that I was comfortable purchasing my new car! I was greeted with a professional associate of Acura, named Richard Merry. I probably drove him nuts with all of my questions, concerns and pricing..but he never let on. His kind tone and friendliness made me feel like I'd known him forever. Being in Acura was not like being in other dealerships where you feel like they just want the sale. Rich wanted a customer, not for the sale but for a long term relationship. I live a distance from the dealership and he not only offered, but delivered my new TL to my doorstep. Now that is going above and beyond! If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, the "NEW" Acura of Peabody is the way to go! ***** Five Stars all the way! More
I bought a used 2008 TL Type-S with a Wheel Warranty which was originally purchased through them. The warranty was fully transferable so I paid $500 for it. When I asked them to transfer it to my na which was originally purchased through them. The warranty was fully transferable so I paid $500 for it. When I asked them to transfer it to my name, they said they would no longer honor it because the company they bought it from went out of business! When I asked them if they would fix my wheel for me, they said they would think about it and then I never heard from them again. I'm out $500 and I still have a broken wheel. My right window in the back would not come down so while I was having my regular service could they check. The service person told me they would not fix it because it was overspray from a small accident my wife was involed in. Instead of telling me what it would cost they gave me the bums rush because they were going to a banquet that evening. This is my second lease with Acura of Peabody and my last. I will look elseware next year. Also no follow-up call on my service was ever made.Thks,Jerry McGrath More
I never visited the dealership but worked with Tom, the Internet Manager on-line for over a week. He was so thorough and responsive. He even mailed me at 11:00 p.m. in the evening! I lease a new car every 24 months. I've leased 3 Audi's in a row and thought I'd try something new. I first contacted Acura of Peabody for 24 month lease prices on a TSX. The response was "we've got terrific leases for 36 months. When I wrote back a second time and again asked for 24 month lease prices, I never heard back.<br><br>I went to the dealer this morning with a friend. We were both interested in the TSX - he was considering purchasing one, and I was considering leasing one. After a couple hours of test-drives and discussion, the salesman and I agreed on a reasonable 24 month lease price. When he made his final trip to the sales manager to get a firm price on the deal, he came back with a 24 month lease price that was $150 HIGHER per month than we had been discussing for the previous hour. He claims that he thought we were talking about a 36 month lease, but my friend agreed with me that the entire conversation had been about a 24 month lease. <br><br>So - Acura of Peabody blew it big time. They had 2 potential sales, but the bait and switch didn't work. What a waste of time. It's back to Audi for me. IRA Audi knows how to treat their customers honestly and fairly. It's sad because we both really liked the TSX. More
