Kept Me Well Informed I brought my 2014 Acura TL in for routine maintenance and to ask about two recall notices I had received by mail. Joey Aria was my service adviser an I brought my 2014 Acura TL in for routine maintenance and to ask about two recall notices I had received by mail. Joey Aria was my service adviser and quickly answered my questions about the recall notices and recommended some additional maintenance which I agreed was a good idea. He explained the amount of time it would take and kept me informed as I waited to let me know it was progressing. Great service team there at Plesanton Acura. OK. Had to wait extra hour I had a 3pm appointment. I arrived at 3:05. A tech checked me in relatively quickly as usual. He estimated the work will take 90 minutes (B1 service) I had a 3pm appointment. I arrived at 3:05. A tech checked me in relatively quickly as usual. He estimated the work will take 90 minutes (B1 service) I went to the lounge and starting doing my own work. ONE hour later, I was brought to the front -- I thought that was quick, they're done already, 30 minute ahead of schedule. Yay! NOPE, turned out my paperwork was just sitting there for the past hour. Nothing was done. I was then given a new time estimate of another 90 minutes. The service rep promised he would put my car to the front of the line. The work was completed about 80 minutes after that. I was busy doing my own work during all this time, so the extra time was not a deal breaker for me, but allowing a customer's paperwork to sit for 1 hour was poor service. More

Brought the car to the dealership about 20 minutes earlier than my scheduled time and was informed by the technician that they don't do online booking for appointments and they will close in ~1.5 hours which isn't enough time to do a 30-60 minute appointment. After mentioning I am open to leaving the car overnight and just want the assessment done he relented and informed me to wait inside. I was later approached by Shaun in the customer lounge. He mentioned there was an hour left to complete the recall and multipoint inspection and affirmed it would be done to avoid leaving me without a car. It was completed within the hour, the cabin filter was replaced for free and he even offered a car wash which I obliged to. Despite the bumpy beginning, I got what I needed done with added bonuses. I appreciate Shaun's assistance with my service and will continue to frequent this dealership. More

A16 service done at Acura of Pleasanton Good service. Seemed like a bit more upsell that I would have preferred. For a simple service, it was on the high end. For 300 bucks you think you'd at least get your car washed. Not Johnny's fault they don't have a car wash but get on board with other dealerships. They all wash your car after a certain amount of spend. Pros: Service overall was excellent and Johnny was attentive. Cons: Price (pretty consistent with Acura) and no car wash More
